Flirt4Free
flirt4free.com
Flirt4Free is a great site with a mildly confusing name. They bring titties, dicks and gorgeous t-girls with both of these assets to your computer screen, live and they encourage you to flirt with them. They’re literally just a regular cam-show site. I’d say camgirl, but they’re very inclusive. There are sections for all kinds of content. Anyways, they’re not in the top 3 and they’re only somewhat popular, so naturally, they care very deeply about their referral program. They want people like you to funnel traffic to them. They need new users. Their product is great, their chicks are hot and their streams are top-notch. So, you don’t have to worry about the quality they provide. They just need you to show users to the door and they’ll take care of everything else.
So, how do you do that? Simple integration. They’ve got a streamlined system that lets you set up your own website, under your own domain. It’s your property, but the money goes to them. Well, most of the money goes to them, at least. You’re more than free to customize your site any way you want and optimize your traffic and click-through rates, of course. The bottom line is that they want to cooperate with you and bring in users for them for a long time. They, in turn, offer you tons of cash, provided you do your job right. So, if you want to turn your traffic into monetizable clicks, this is one of the best places on the internet to get started. Flirt4Free’s name makes them sound a bit like a dating site and that irks me, but other than that, they’re about as classically successful as you can get.
Renting Versus Owning
I’m playing it fast and loose with the definitions of rent and own here, but there’s clearly a difference between having your own site and running one for Flirt4Free. There are ups and downs to this, of course, but I think the pros outweigh the cons. First of all, you always own your domain. They can’t take that away from you. This means that if you want to do a shit job, you can. I don’t see why you would, but it’s still a good feeling, knowing that you are in charge of your own little operation.
You’re not obligated to pay for hosting or streaming services. You don’t have to do your own design from the ground up. Yes, you can customize, but all the functional essentials are there from day one. You literally go from having no site at all to being up and running overnight. Plus, it’s not like they charge you for the privilege. Flirt4Free wants you to succeed just as much as you do, so they go out of their way to ensure that you have an easy time using their services.
Switching Seats Mid-Flight
If you’ve already got an established site, you could, in theory, convert that site into a Flirt4Free portal, but this might murder your progress. Say you have a porn website you’ve been working on for a while and you’re somewhat successful. You’ve hit 10,000 unique users a day. Now, you want to scrap all that and move onto Flirt4Free. Well, you can, but your entire site would literally disappear. You might be able to salvage the Google Analytics data for your users, but other than that, you’re looking at a do-over.
Your entire site so far has to be scrapped. Your users might not appreciate this. Hell, they might abandon your site entirely, now that you’ve completely jumped ship. You could probably get away with this if your first site was similar to the second, say, if they were both cam-girl oriented. But, if you were running a porn forum and you’re suddenly a cam-girl site, you can kiss your leads goodbye and just start over. You might as well get a new domain at that point. That’s what this boils down to – the domain traffic. How many people have your domain bookmarked with the intent to come back and check out your content?
Cross-Marketing with Other Sites
You could start a white-label site for Flirt4Free in case you’ve never had a porn site before and call that your entry into the world of porn webmaster operations. That’s a great way to start with very little work and a quick turnaround. But, what if you’re already established? Well, in that case, you could just create a white-label site anyways and use your other sites to funnel your traffic towards it. It’s kind of like you’re developing your own little network of porn sites that are all interlinked.
Sure, you could use an ad service and rely on PPC, but that’s expensive. Plus, there’s always someone skimming off the top. Instead, if you’ve got a ton of porn sites that you run and own, you could use those as free referral sources for yourself. You could have an entire spider web that eventually leads back to Flirt4Free. They’d be happy, you’d be happy and you’d be making off like a bandit.
Conventional PPC Ads
This entire time I’ve been covering the white-label possibilities with Flirt4Free, but as far as I can tell, they offer normal ads that you can just insert into your pages. You can straight up rend your ad-space to them. At first, you might get the picture that this is out of the question. They don’t talk a lot about their PPC options. They seem really intent on selling you on the idea of white-label. I don’t know why. I’m assuming it’s just more profitable in the long run.
Either way, they say that they have several types of ads, both animated and static and that led me to believe that they do indeed offer PPC solutions. It would just be a lot nicer and more straightforward if they listed these offers under one section on their site. I swear, every part of their entire website seems to be trying to funnel you towards the white-label cooperation.
I like the method, of course, but it bothers me that they didn’t take the time to segment these offers so that you know what you’re getting into. Plus, their payment information lists three tiers that I will get into, but it’s not clear how these relate to the type of ads you’re running. So, are they paying you exactly the same through white-label as they do through ad-space? Who knows. You’ll literally have to ask them that directly.
The Contract Types
There are three distinct payment setups and you need to have a long hard think about which works best for you. There’s PPS, PPL and RevShare. You should be very familiar with RevShare, since it’s one of the oldest affiliate payment concepts out there. Basically, you receive lifetime percentage kickbacks from all unique members of Flirt4Free that arrived on that site through your referral. So, ten years down the line, you could still be earning a commission on that referral. It’s an amazing system that encourages you to get your hands on as many unique visitors as possible.
Then, there’s PPS and PPL and they’re damn similar. PPS pays every time someone signs up on the site with a payment plan. That means that when they pay, you get $50. That’s it. There's no lifetime commitment, no future kickbacks, just $50. It’s a great tier in case you just want to get your hands on some hard-earned cash and be done with it. Then, there’s PPL and this is arguably the strangest tier. It pays between $2 and 20 cents, depending on the country of the person that’s performing the signup, but you get the money the second they make a free account. They don’t have to pay for anything. The $2 tier is for the first world countries, the $1 is for a select few like the UAE and then there’s 20 cents for most smaller countries across the world.
Choosing a Contract Type
I think it’s pretty simple, but the final decision is on you. This is how I see it. You use RevShare if you believe in your site's longevity and want to grow an automated income source. It also kind of implies that you consider your visitors to be … successful. You want them to pay more than once. Or at the very least, you’re hoping they get more than 1 month of Flirt4Free membership.
Then, you have PPS if you’re in a hurry and you’re not sure how long you’ll be operating your site. Also, this tier, same as RevShare, immunizes you against the whole geographic tier list. $50 is $50; it doesn’t matter where it came from.
Finally, you have PPL and I’d like to think that this is the best tier for webmasters with a ton of cheap traffic. This is probably the optimal tier if you’re running a porn tube site that may or may not be doing so well, but you still get a lot of views. It’s better to get 10,000 people to make a free account, than to get a handful of signups or RevShares.
