GFY Sell & Buy

First impressions may tell you that GFY.com/Sell and Buy is a place to buy and sell GIFs. That’s at least what first comes to my mind, which sounds like a pretty badass gig if you could get in on something like that. Flipping XXX GIFs sounds like a business model that would never grow old.

We know that this kind of shit does not exist, though. You are never going to earn a living flipping GIFs (that I know of, anyway). GFY actually stands for ‘Go Fuck Yourself,’ and it’s an adult marketplace where you can buy and sell among other adult webmasters. Here, you will find professionals selling all kinds of services, products, and more.

It’s not a bad place to go whenever you want a marketplace that caters to all things, adults. You may, however, have a fucking difficult time browsing the forum (more on that in a moment). First, let’s take a look at just how many business propositions there actually are.

Over 70 threads per page

When you first visit GFY.com/Sell and Buy, you will notice that the forum looks like any fucking forum you have ever seen. If it seems familiar, and that is probably for a good reason. It still uses the same vBulletin platform that has been the norm for forums for years. It’s not that it’s good or bad, it’s just dated and feels commonplace, and it can feel clunky as hell to browse around.

But once you land on GFY.com/Sell and Buy, you will discover that there are plenty of buying and selling opportunities to be had here. I found that when I was browsing the forum, there were over 70 threads across nine pages. That is a reasonably impressive spread, especially considering that these are seemingly active threads.

While I cannot say for sure that every thread that was live on GFY.com/Sell and Buy was currently active, it’s safe to assume that this is the case. If the thread is open, chances are the original poster is still looking. So browse around and see what you can find!

One of the things that I wish GFY.com/Sell and Buy had done was create subcategories for this section. It can be pretty massive and take a while to look through everything. I understand that you probably want to keep your options open when looking at fucking everything, but it can be a pretty overwhelming task.

Subcategories would make navigating GFY.com/Sell and Buy much easier. For example, what if you only want to look at XXX domains that are for sale? Although there are plenty of those for sale, they are far from the only listings on here. You will also find content creation services for your adult site. If you have no interest in these types of threads, you will have to look past them.

Still, it would have made navigating this section of the forum so much more convenient. Having to go through every fucking thread on GFY.com/Sell and Buy just because you cannot browse by subcategory is annoying. Unfortunately – at least for now – you are going to have to deal with it all.

Immediately banned

Before you can browse the threads on GFY.com/Sell and Buy, you have to sign up for a free account. That’s fair. It’s par for the course when it comes to similar forums as well. Truthfully, with a platform where you can buy and sell adult-related services, domains, and so much more, you cannot allow just anyone onto the forum.

Signing up for a free account is a fucking chore. You have to fill out a variety of details about yourself. Such as your website, your occupation, if you are a human (you have to type ‘yes’ if you want to continue), and the like. That’s perfectly fine, and it’s GFY.com/Sell and Buy’s right to make you answer whatever stupid information they want you to provide to them.

The trouble began when it became clear that it is nearly impossible to read the CAPTCHAS. I’m no stranger when it comes to these fucking things, either. I can read them with fucking ease. They don’t stand in my way, and I’ve never had a problem with them.

That is until I tried to fill out GFY.com/Sell and Buy’s CAPTCHAS. These may be the worst CAPTCHAS I’ve ever had to use! I kid you not; it took me nearly 30-minutes to get a CAPTCHA correct. I wasn’t goddamn inebriated either. I couldn’t tell the difference between a ‘g’ and a ‘9’, for example. I almost just gave up.

But once I finally got a CAPTCHA right, I was told that my website field was improperly written. Mother fucker! I will save you the frustration. You have to add your website and include the entire domain. That means including ‘http(s)://’ at the beginning of your URL; otherwise, it’s wrong. I finally got everything right and was able to register. Once registered, I had to confirm my e-mail address (so don’t use a throwaway you won’t actually check) to set up my account.

I logged into my account and immediately was able to look at the threads. This, of course, is how I found out there were so many threads on GFY.com/Sell and Buy in the first place. I scrolled down the page without clicking on a thread to get a general idea of the types of shit that were for sale. I clicked ‘page 2’ and was informed that I had been banned!

The reason? None was given. The duration of the ban? For life. I thought that maybe it was a problem with my password, so I reset it and tried logging in again—no such luck. My lifetime ban was still valid.

Did I break the fucking rules or something? I have no idea. But if GFY.com/Sell and Buy lifetime ban members after they’ve gone through all of the hoops they throw at them without giving them a reason, the marketplace can go fuck itself. Maybe you will have better luck. But if you get a lifetime ban as I did for no goddamn reason, go elsewhere.

Browse by new

Fortunately, the Wayback Machine exists so I could get a general idea regarding how the site operates. Once I did, I noticed that you could sort the threads by new. This will allow you to look at the absolute latest threads as they are posted. It is a great way to get an idea regarding the latest opportunities you can take from other adult professionals like yourself.

Once you find a thread that you want to learn more about, all you have to do is hover over the thread to know more details about it. That is extremely convenient because you don’t even have to click on each post to learn more about it! The only thing you need to do is hover over the thread to see the post’s description within.

Now, if you want to learn everything there is to know about the post, you will probably want to click on it to read more about what the hell is going on. But if you want to save time and skim over a post to see if it is the right fit for you as an adult webmaster, GFY.com/Sell and Buy makes it happen. If I want to quickly glance at threads featuring gigs, jobs, and offerings that could benefit my brand, I can do it with ease.

All types of gigs, services, offers, and more

The sheer variety of the threads on GFY.com/Sell and Buy really jumped out at me. There were all kinds of website URLs available to purchase. One was called ‘webcamgirlonline,’ which could be a decent moneymaker for the right adult webmaster. Another was called ‘TeacherPorn,’ which again could be turned into a cash cow.

But it was not solely adult URLs that were getting flipped. There were also B2B services like reputation management, Web hosting, banner traffic, YouTube marketing, ad management, writing and editing contracts, and more. The variety is certainly here, and there is plenty to find and inquire about. I just hope that you don’t get a lifetime ban like I did, whatever the fuck that was about.

The forum also looks dated, is clunky, and lacks subcategories. Further, signing up can be a lengthy chore due to the awful CAPTCHAS. These problems need to be addressed if GFY.com/Sell and Buy hopes to attract new adult webmasters and keep them coming back for more.
