Traffic is pointless without monetization. You should know this by now. You have to funnel all of those willing fappers towards a paying offer that can make you money. How do you do that? Well, with an affiliate network, of course. That’s what TubeCorporate is here for. They boast a ton of really profitable offers to help turn your website into a cash-making machine. They also try their best to take the load off your hands, so you don’t have to do much beyond just signing up and the initial site setup. The appeal of these kinds of affiliate networks is the automated nature of how the ads are served. The main differences between affiliate networks usually have to do with how much money they send your way and what types of ads they run.
Obviously, TubeCorporate supports adult verticals; otherwise, it really wouldn’t make sense to list them on a fucking porn webmaster review site. They aren’t exclusively adult, though and I think that’s a good thing. It means that they haven’t put all their eggs in one basket. It also means that you have reason to believe their success stories are legit. I also have to say that I haven’t seen a better affiliate network landing page than their homepage.
They tell you everything you need to know in the first five seconds you spend on their site. It’s all there. The types of ads, the many websites that use their service, their proud partners, as well as a breakdown of all the features that they’ve got on their platform. They cover 99% of all the information right off the bat. All the fine print is tucked away, but it’s not hidden. I’m going to go through all of it to see whether TubeCorporate is truly as awesome as their site design seems to suggest.
Pop-Unders Are a Classic
Right off the bat, we’re starting strong with pop-under ads. TubeCorporate calls these on-click, but I know what they mean. The ads go under the page, not over. This is very important. Pop-over ads have been a nuisance since the day they were invented. Plus, for porn purposes, pop-unders make a lot more sense. There’s a bit of a psychological game going on if you think about it real hard. Your visitors are usually hard when they browse through your content. At least they should be if you’re playing your cards right. They come, they see, they jack off.
Once they’re done jacking it, their bodies fill up with the good stuff, positive hormones and what not. Then, they close the browser with the porn and see the ad that they opened 15 minutes prior. You catch them at the best time – when they’re full of the happy juice. They’re a lot likelier to click through an ad and actually give a shit about the things it's promoting if they’re in a good mood. You pretty much have this as a guarantee in the adult industry. Sure, it’s a bit different if you’re running a porn forum, but they have different ad formats for more passive websites.
Banners are Non-Intrusive
If you’re on a more passive site where people aren’t spending their entire time with their dick in their hands, consider banners. You could roll with all the ad formats at once, of course. I’m just trying to give you some sense about the logic that goes behind optimizing delivery with the actual formats. Banners are perfect for forums and blogs. They stay visible at all times, but they never get in the way of the content. At this point, I’m pretty much used to seeing banners on every forum I frequent, especially the ones that deal in adult shit.
I went to some of their listed client sites to see what these banners might look like and they’re pretty damn neat. They’re an easy 4 out of 5 on the sexiness scale, but they’re not there for faps; they’re supposed to encourage you to click them. It’s also worth mentioning that I tested ad-block and it did block them, which is actually a good thing. If ads get past ad-block, that means they’re not automatically drawn in from an ad network. These are supposed to be fully automated and the fact that they went away pretty much proves it. While we’re on the subject, you should fight ad-block with anti-ad-block plugins. There are tons of solutions out there that pretty much automate that process for you. It has nothing to do with the actual affiliate network you’re on.
Some Sneaky Formats
There are a few ad formats on offer at TubeCorporate that are less than common and I like every single one of them. I think it’s important that we innovate on these things. People get used to ad formats they’ve seen a thousand times over and they tend to lose effectiveness over time. They don’t become redundant or anything, but you’ve seen one banner, you’ve seen them all. Many people hate ads, so they sort of train their minds to look away and click as far away as possible from them. That’s why TubeCorporate has rolled out a ton of new and innovative ad formats for the late 21st century.
You’ve got web push, in-page and iOS push ads. You’ve probably seen a few of these in the past couple of years. They’re getting popular. Basically, the website you’re on asks you for permission to send you push notifications in the future. If you agree, you’ll pretty much forget that you gave permission and get an offer or two down the line, while you’re browsing other sites. At the same time, there’s the push notification format that straight up just sends an on-screen tab towards the side of the page. It’s tiny, it’s not intrusive and most of all, it mimics what notifications look like on mobile, so that the person browsing feels incentivized to click them. I like these bad boys. They look professional.
Testimonials in The Wild
9 out of 10 affiliate networks have testimonials of some sort. Then, there’s the minority of sites that just say they’re awesome and don’t feel the need to prove it. That doesn’t inspire confidence. TubeCorporate is taking testimonials to the next level with actual live demos of real sites that are under their network. So, you can actually go to a website and see what these ads are like in the wild.
This is so much better than just reading someone’s testimonial and having to take their word for it. Plus, how the fuck do you even verify a testimonial? You can’t. You’d have to dig deep and hope that the person who gave their quote actually listed their real name, then reach out to them and hope they reply. It’s a jumbled mess. This way, you just go to the actual websites that TubeCorporate is working with and see everything in action.
On the flipside, this doesn’t actually give you any metrics. You don’t know how effective these ads really are, but you can check the success of the actual site. You can look up publically available information about that site’s SEO and PPC. You can check their popularity and even audit their optimization with third-party tools. Remember, you’re more than welcome to use SEO analysis tools on other people’s websites. I think at this point; you’re more than expected to do just that. You figure out how these sites compare to yours and then imagine what your site would look like with these ads. TubeCorporate has made it painfully simple for you to imagine yourself using their service.
Terms and Conditions
You’ll find some numbers thrown around on this website, regarding how much you get paid if you sign up and what the actual revenue share rates are, but there’s nothing concrete. It seems that their terms are not set in stone. There’s a lot of variability, so they can’t just give you a straight quote. However, this is to be expected. There’s no guarantee of traffic or quality of service with these kinds of networks, so I’d rather see them being honest about the variability, than sign a check that their ass can’t cash.
I’d recommend that you check out their FAQ, because it’s a lot more extensive than you might expect. They have a bunch of articles that were written by their employees. You can even see their names, so you know exactly who wrote this legalese. It’s nothing too complicated, though. They have categories for every single part of their system, so you can easily find what you’re looking for and learn about how TubeCorporate operates. This is a great site, covering a great service with a lot of options for webmasters. I’d seriously consider signing up with them if you’re in the market for a new affiliate network.
