I've seen an enormous amount of porn in my time and about as many porn affiliates, webmasters, and partnership programs. They all have advantages and often a few drawbacks or hurdles for users to overcome.
To be upfront about it, Bellasa's content partnership program with a strong mix of both and one of the more unique platforms I've seen. All will be made clear throughout the article so let's get into it.
This Organization Has A Different Philosophy
Referring to itself as the Netflix of porn, this platform has a unique name – one that I don't know what it means – and an even more niche type of erotic entertainment. Not only that, but they are a type of platform that has a philosophy, too. To give you a taste of their whole position:
"At Bellesa, we believe that sexuality on the internet should depict women as they truly are- as subjects of pleasure, not objects of conquest…Our ambitions reach far beyond providing women with easily accessible and true natured sexual content…Bellesa grows and changes as its community does- that's where you come in."
As you can tell, this platform primarily hosts porn for women and several variations on that. There is the typical man-woman interaction but with far more intimacy than what you will see relative to Kink.com. Beyond that, there is a lot of highly passionate love-making and even some rough stuff that'll get a couple's motorboat running.
In addition to that, there is content relating to sex toys, sexual education, and the like. Where does all of this content come from? Well, from a variety of high-end porn producers – one of the new ones could be you.
The Audience Is One That Few Have Gone After
With this kind of porn outlet, you will see stuff you generally will not see relative to a major tube site like PornHub. As a result, the audience is going to skew a bit differently as well. I don't know the specific demographics of this platform's audience; it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it is mostly females, couples, and probably some gays, too. (The reason for that last demographic will be explained in the next section.)
This is great news for those who create this kind of carnal entertainment for more than a single reason.
1.) Variety – People are always looking for something novel. Think about how many varieties of porn have emerged from obscurity to start trending in a matter of months. For that matter, think about the erotica that has popped up out of nowhere just in the last few years.
2.) Niche – Porn for women is hardly new. Even still, it is a market that has been tapped about as hard as a hot 21-year-old virgin's ass. There is plenty of opportunities here for those who have the sort of smut that appeals to the ladies.
I could bring up some statistics, but I think there is another form of proof of how big this sort of smut is and will be. Both feminists and religionists are freaking out that porn producers are growing the market by making erotica for females. Is that proof enough for you?
3.) Quality – This site has some of the best production values that I have seen, and viewers can watch it for a premium. I don't know for sure, but I suspect that they cut decent deals with their partners at the very least. As a result, their audience is willing to seek out other smuts of the same caliber when it's added.
Into The Guy-On-Guy Thing? You Can Take Use This Program
As I hinted at already, this platform does host and promote porn featuring fellas who fuck with fellas. That may sound strange to some of you; it makes complete sense if you think about it. Just as most guys are often super into lesbian porn, one of the top categories of porn that women are into is the gay variety.
In fact, if you look at PornHub stats, four of the ten most popular male performers women favor are gay dudes. Gay porn sites like CockyBoys report that about thirty percent of their audience is female. There are even female producers who specialize in creating steamy scenes which are strictly dickly.
So, if you have created your own man-on-man erotic action, I am certain that the webmasters of this site would love to see it.
There Are Some Red Flags Associated With This Program
Alright, there are some serious issues that I have with nearly every aspect of this program. And they are not exactly something that could be whittled down into a couple of paragraphs. With any further ado, let's get into it.
The site’s growth seems to be slowed
This site seems to be slowing down regarding the volume of content and the frequency that it has been uploading. This in and of itself isn't too much of a big deal at first blush. However, when I think about it, this tells me that people either aren't interested in adding content, or the webmasters aren't interested in advertising their site to potential partners. Either scenario is concerning to me.
Parts of the site are down
One of the things that unfortunately reinforces my suspicion that this website is not doing too hot these days are the pages that are down, blank, or disappointingly low on content. It would be one thing if the jobs page doesn't have anything on it. However, it is deeply concerning, bordering on being unprofessional, that some of the most important pages are lacking. For example, the FAQ page seems to be under construction or is completely broken. Other methods of contributing that certainly should be part of the partnership is over the erotic stories section.
But as it turns out, that part of the site is down as well. There is a newsletter of sorts, but it's not one of those with a regular release like other programs. Instead, you only get a single newsletter press information packet.
The lack of detail is frustrating
In general, there is not much additional info that should be given when it comes to how this system works. Sure, it's hard to screw up how a content partnership works, but even basic tube sites explain how your smut is promoted.
Indeed, I think this is extremely important, considering they do not discuss how rights and payments are dealt with. Not only that, but some uploads are free to see even for non-members, while others require payment.
Unfortunately, this vagueness isn't just limited to the content program, either. Just click on the Brand Ambassador link and look at what you'll see as a handful of paragraphs without much information on how payment works and all of the other basic data that things should be listed.
The thing is, the terms of service are incredibly lengthy.
Joining Is Not Hard At All
I do have to praise the way that this system works in signing up for this program. All you need to do is submit your personal and company name in addition to your email and website domain.
It's also a good idea to give them a description of what you're about and what you can offer. From there, you just have to wait for the company to get back to you. If you've got even more questions, then email the site using [email protected].
I Have Mixed Feels About Bellasa, Personally
To be honest, my mind was all over the place when looking at this site and its partnership program. At first glance, it seemed like an excellent opportunity given the smut's quality and the types of categories presented.
For sure, those of you out there who are creating super high-quality artistic erotica specialized for couples and women could get additional exposure through this platform. But I fear that a lot of indie performers would be turned away for quality reasons or won't get the exposure that you need.
When it comes down to it, I say that this has got to be one of the riskier content partner programs I have seen. Sure, you're probably not going to lose any money, but you might sink a whole bunch of time into something that isn't going to pay off ultimately.
Try it out if you want, but I'm not terribly optimistic about your odds. If anything, you are in the whole porn for women thing; look up a more mainstream content partnership opportunity.
