Fap House! Having a hard drive of your own porn is a great thing, as I can attest to personally. But it seems, to me, to be a waste not to share one’s own smut with the rest of the world. After all, there is nothing quite like being able to make someone else orgasm with whom you have never met, let alone physically touched. I can also say from experience that it is far more satisfying when you can make hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of people feel that way.
However, distributing your trouser-less dalliances can be a challenge even in the era of ubiquitous high-speed, at least if you want to make money. Sure, you can place them on a personal blog. Tumblr is always an option, or rather, it used to be until the idiot Tumblrites fucked that up.
Twitter is a decent option for gaining popularity, but it can be hard to monetize that. Your next best option could be OnlyFans, but with all celebrities eating up attention these days, it can be more challenging than it was just a couple of years ago. There are, of course, tube sites like PornHub which can be leveraged, but the competition is a little tough. Then there are also the payout rates which, depending on where you upload, you could make money or not much at all.
However, there is one site that I know of that could be a great place for pros, ascending erotica developers, and newbies to the nudity trade to advertise and get paid: Fap House.
Sell Your Original Video Smut And Make Money
Since I have already brought up possible but risky channels, I will make an all-out pitch to consider Fap House throughout (most) of this article. Unlike other platforms that help sell smut, this one is not too demanding in several ways.
Moreover, they (mostly) give you an enormous degree of control as to how you want to do it. And as long as you don’t add anything that doesn’t scare the horses or involves using words that would not be allowed on a tube, you can do whatever you like, with any number of performers you would like.
However, Your Media Options Are A Little Limited
As great as the video options are – and I will get into them in more depth later – you cannot make money off of one form of media, yet it is one of the easiest to produce: pictures. That’s right, unlike virtually every tube site, OnlyFans, and many other adult-friendly media solicitation, you cannot make money with all of the images saved to your mobile device on Fap House.
Supposedly, they will have an option to do this in the future, but as of publishing this article, I have to say that I am a little skeptical. And while I am on this topic, it seems like something that should have already been designed, integrated, and functional upon this website’s launch.
Another thing that I do not care for is the fact that there is no affiliate program. Again, this is supposedly under development, but I would not anticipate this coming terribly soon either. Then again, I would love to be proven wrong. I should also mention that they seem interested if you are selling traffic, but I cannot give you any specifics.
You Can Expand Your Studio In A Unique Way
While you can only have a single account, you can open up multiple studios under that account. This is great for everyone, especially those running numerous shoots with different genres of porn or something similar. Even if you are not, consider it. You might be able to pull in even more money by specializing.
Oh, I should mention that if you are a pornstar, be sure to tag your videos up. Hell, even if you aren’t officially one, still tag your uploads as if you were – it’ll help you out in the present and the future. At some point, Fap House is going to add a pornstar tab and ranking page.
Interacting With Your Fans Is Highly Limited
From one end, your viewers have several means of getting back to you and sharing their feedback through traditional means. They can like your videos and do most of the typical things that you will see on most tube sites, even though Fap House is a little barebone in nature. However, when it comes to interacting with your fans, you are somewhat limited. Rather, I should say that there is no way to communicate with them in private at all. Again, this is a feature supposed to be in development, but I cannot state when this will happen, if at all.
If You Upload Enough Or Highly Popular Content, You Will Be Featured
The name of the game here is fundamentally no different from a tube site or any other social platform, and that is to get noticed. Since there are no content restrictions, other than the obvious, you can upload whatever you would like to get attention from other users. Be creative, though, as you will be competing with professional porn indie models and small-, medium-, and big businesses.
However, if you have the ingenuity and consistency to add arousing action, you should bring the views in. The more views you get, the more likely you are going to get good ratings. And naturally, when you get your vids ranked in the Popular section, it surely could lead to a positive feedback loop.
Now then, what are the chances of this happening? Well, there is no way to say for sure, but there are some clues that you have a decent shot of seeing success. For instance, this website (so far) gets about six million daily videos. And it does not seem to be likely to slow considering the fact that this site has an impressive Alexa traffic rank under 2,500 and the average daily time on site is an excellent two minutes and fifty-five seconds.
The Payment Methods Are Very Varied, Which Is Great
As always, I have to comment on the payment methods and the amount of money you might make. The first part is pretty easy to check me on, which in my opinion, is pretty good. To be precise, there are four methods that will appeal to all content producers. The big four are Paxum, bank wire transfers via SWIFT, ACH payments, and the Single Euro Payment Area system.
As you know, they all have their own transfer fees and delays, but as far as I can tell, there are no additional charges when it comes to transfers. Now, as for how much you can make, that depends on a couple of factors: onsite fees, what you upload, and how people respond. Regarding the fees that Fap House charges, they can be summed up in the following three options:
Single Sale – This system works on a ratio system or 0.005 cents per token. To channel an example used from Fap House itself, if you set a price of 1000 tokens and someone spends that much, you will earn $5.
FanClub Subscription – You are given a series of subscription options to pick from, and from that, you will receive 68% off of every subscription you receive. As with the first pricing plan, pick your price point carefully. Also, to qualify, you must add twenty percent of your vids to the View Share section to get promoted.
View Share – This one is the most complicated given the math involved but can be a winner if you know what you are doing. The rate of money ‘floats’ rather than be fixed and is instead calculated on unique views, view length, number of favorites, and other variables. This option is all about balancing several things, such as finding that sweet spot of decent length that ‘addicts’ viewers.
After that, it is an issue of how many uploads you have and what the viewer thinks. Add several new movies on a regular (I would say monthly) basis, but it is even more vital that this material is of the utmost quality.
You Will Be Limited On What You Can Charge
I found it a bit of a disappointment that there are caps on what you can charge for your content.
When it comes to the single sale system, you must charge at least twenty-five tokens and no more than one thousand tokens. If you have a fan club, you are required to charge no less than $34.99 per month – which I think is a bit steep – and that maxes out at $209.99 annually.
But I have found that you can charge exclusive or special rates of some sort, but you will have to communicate with the webmasters.
There Are A Few Different Customer Support Channels
Since this system is rather intuitive but has many moving parts, you might need to get in touch with support.
For reasons I cannot imagine, Fap House uses three different billing services: Centrobill, Segpay, and Epoch. Not to worry, though, as I have reviewed them before and find them to be reliable. Still, if you have an issue with getting paid, you can contact all of them through email, phone, or directly messaging their website.
However, I was a little disappointed that you can only contact Fap House by sending onsite messages. Further, they do not even tell you when they are going to respond to your email.
The Other Uploaders Are Pleased With This Platform
I did think that it was a little strange that a website that is this well designed does not have more reviews on external sites. Of course, there are some decent ones (not as thorough as mine), but I was intrigued by the individual performers and studios who have left testimonials.
For example, Lelu Love has stated that this site is far better than tubes at getting her much appreciated exposure;
“Fap House constantly sends some of the best and “stickiest” referrals to me and my content compared to every other tube site!”
Other industry mainstream professionals like Mariska X have stated that this website’s staff “is a top platform with a super professional service.” Then there the kinksters who post here, such as the fascinating group, Doll House, have summarized by saying simply that Fap House is “is the best way to spread our Cult!” It is also worth mentioning what the legendary fetish site Kink had this to say;
“Fap House has been a great source of revenue for Kink.com! On top of that, the Fap House team is a joy to work with, and they’re always willing to put in the extra time needed to make their arrangements mutually beneficial for both companies.”
Then there is Alexandra Wett, a mainstream actress who is now a fap star who posts to this site and has almost a million and a half views and an impressive 67,000 subscribers. Not only that but;
“I’m happy to be one of the Premium Models making Premium Content, with Premium Quality!”
So yes, you have a really good shot at becoming the new ‘it’ girl (or guy) on one of the biggest indie smut promoters and hosting platforms. Even relatively small studios, like the Midwestern, Iowa-based studio Private Society, had this to say about Fap House;
“I’m all about finding extra ways to monetize my content, and [Fap House] has quickly become a favorite way to improve my bottom line. It provides powerful exposure and a steady and growing source of monthly revenue. I’ll take it!”
Who needs third-party reviews when your own verifiable users are saying stuff like this. Nonetheless, I do think that I have a duty to down my own breakdown of this platform, so let’s finish up.
I Have My Own Opinion, Of Course
There is not too much to say when it comes to Fap House’s operating rules. Though it is the mother of all text fests (have they ever heard of paragraph breaks?), overall, the Terms of Service are typical. Still, I would read through them anyway to play it safe.
Now that we have established the rules you should know, I have a few things to say about who this platform would benefit the most. Clearly, many established porn studios would benefit amazingly, and many already have. Examples include BLACKED, Pure Taboo, Team Skeet, and Family Strokes. However, I am confident that Fap House would welcome more than just the mega producers.
With all of those clarifications made, I will bring up that I encourage anyone to start making their own porn. And if they think that their smut looks great, you certainly should add your content to the Fap House Library. You could potentially make plenty of money and gain a tremendous following, so what do you have to lose?
Even with its flaws, this website looks lovely and can be a fantastic opportunity for aspiring porn producers and the performers they work with. Therefore, I am awarding this site four and a half hands out of five.
