Traffic Stars! In such a competitive affiliate marketing world, it is not that simple to actually make it rain. But it is also not impossible and is much easier compared to the times when you did not have any kind of help, whatsoever. What the fuck am I talking about? Well, I am here to introduce yet another great ad network called "TrafficStars".
But, what is TrafficStars? What is an ad network? How much can I earn? Well, first, you need to slow the fuck down and take this step by step. Ad networks are companies that will connect advertisers to websites that are interested in having ads. In this case, TrafficStars.com is a self-serving ad network and ad exchange platform, that is designed for HQ adult traffic.
It is a real-time bidding ad network that will allow you to make money by monetizing your desktop, tablets, and mobile traffic, by using all kinds of ad types. Unlike many other ad networks, TrafficStars.com is made only for adult traffic, which is perfect for all my readers out there! You surely have not come here to learn about an ad network that is not adult-friendly… I mean, do you know who the fuck I am?
A simple and straightforward layout
Before I get to the user-features and all that crap, I do want to mention that another great thing about TrafficStars is that it is a good platform for both beginners and experts. They allow companies as well as individuals to make their account and start earning. The registration process is straightforward, and it is also free. Everything will be explained along the way. However, pay attention to the top of the registration, where you can select whether you are an advertiser/publisher and company/individual.
They support a variety of desktop and mobile ad formats; such as pop-unders, banners, native advertising, push notifications, full-page ads, tabs, and others. TrafficStars has over 1k ad spots in many formats, which is always a good sign. In addition, this platform offers worldwide traffic, and has incredibly high volumes in tier-1 GEOs. With that said, you also have the mainstream low-payout GEOs, like Brazil, Thailand, or India, some of which also have high volumes.
Creating your campaign is easy
I am pretty sure we all hate those complicated platforms, that are trying to be edgy or some shit, but just end up being a hassle to deal with. Now, I think this goes without saying, but you need to do a lot more than just register to actually start earning some bucks. Lucky for you, creating a campaign is as easy as winning an argument against a feminist.
Obviously, you need to click on the ‘Create Campaign’ and then give your campaign a name. The most important part here is to select the right category because if you do not target the right audience, all of this is basically useless. What do I mean by that? Well, you know how you would not expect to see Walmart commercials on PornHub or vice-versa? Well, that is because they selected the correct targeted category, which allowed them to choose their audience.
This is probably where you should learn more about how to find the right audience for your campaign. On TrafficStars, you have a category selection tool that will allow you to match your campaign to only specific video categories, and that means that you will be able to create ads that will cater to a particular audience. In this case, since it is all porn, if you do not know much about how to properly target audience, you could just select all the categories.
Keep in mind, that specifying when the ad will be shown is also important. On TrafficStars.com, you will be given a scheduling tab, where you can find different ways to schedule the ad. You have the Day Parting, which means that you get to choose the hours of the day during which the campaign will run, as well as which days of the week. This is important, as you need to select the right time zone. You also have the Start/End date, which means that you can choose the starting and ending dates, as well as hours for your campaign.
What about the pricing?
On TrafficStars.com, you can choose between the CPM and CPC models. Now, how much do you know about those models and how to use them? Well, let me make it a bit clearer. The CPM model is the Cost per 1k impressions. This means that when you set the price you want to pay for your ad, you are setting it for 1k impressions.
CPC, on the other hand, stands for Cost per Click. This means that you will get money depending on how many people have clicked on your ad. Other than that, you will also have the Dynamic CPM option, which is basically set to the max bid you would be willing to pay, and the rest is left to the algorithm that will do the work for you, by selecting the lowest bids out there, for all impressions, individually.
The dynamic CPM has a very complex algorithm that will adjust itself according to the demand of every impression in real-time. What does this mean? Well, the system of TrafficStars.com will check the top CPM for all ad requests that it receives individually while cross-checking all the possible targeting options as it adjusts your campaign’s CPM considering the demand in that specific moment. So, it will be able to effectively allow you to get the most traffic, as you pay the lowest price possible.
Since there is also the Native Ads format, that means that they work with CPMV. However, do not be confused if you do not see this option presented, because the standard pricing for Native Ads is CPMV anyway. This means that you, as the advertiser, will only actually pay for the viewed impressions. In case you are confused, CPMV stands for Cost Per 1k Viewable Impressions. A display will be seen as viewable if a minimum of 50% of pixels on your ads are in focus on the browser.
If you still have no fucking idea what I am talking about, you can always do your own research. Keep in mind that while TrafficStars is a platform that will make your journey to ad networking so much easier, you still need to know a thing or two about the system and how all of this shit works. As Ron Swanson once said – “Never half-ass two things, whole-ass one thing.”
Payment rules and such
If you are at all familiar with how ad networks work, you know that there is a minimum payout requirement before you can actually get paid. Well, on TrafficStars, the minimum payout is $100, and you can choose to get paid through PayPal, Paxum, Epayservice, Cosmopay, and Wire Transfer. While PayPal has a max limit of $10k, other methods of payment do not.
Usually, it will take from 2-5 days to receive the payment with wire transferring, while other methods are instant. As for when you can choose from the three usual options; weekly, monthly, and quarterly payments. However, before you can actually receive your payment, you will have to reach the minimum payout for the billing period. The weekly billing period is Monday – Sunday. The Monthly billing will be done from the first and last day of the month.
Optimize your campaign
After launching your campaign, you should also optimize it and keep track of the performance. You will have full access to all your campaigns on the dashboard, where you can see the stats. There will be a lot of user-friendly options that will help you learn more about your active campaigns, so don’t even fret about whether you will find your way around or not. Keep in mind that if you do run into any Oopsies along the way, you can always just contact their customer support.
Great for publishers as well
In case you are a publisher, and are looking for the best ad network to help you out, TrafficStars might actually be the right fit. So, how to get started? Well, it should be obvious that the first step is to register as a fucking Publisher. I am not sure what the heck else did you expect me to say. Once you create an account, you can add your website/websites, and relevant ad spot/spots in a section labeled the ‘Manage Ad Spots’. You literally cannot miss that shit.
After you add this, your website will be placed into the ‘Pending Approval’ status, because it needs to be reviewed. Keep in mind that until you add the ad spots, the website will not be reviewed. Once it is approved, you will be able to implement the ad spot codes on any of your websites.
As for the native ads, there are some guidelines you need to follow. First, you will have to disclose to the users what sort of content they will be linked to thought the TrafficStars widget… as in, is it a third-party content from the web and not your own editorial content, or was it paid by the third party who wanted to have the content placed there.
In case you fuck up, and you actually breach any of the guidelines that are, oh so nicely listed in their FAQ, you can experience one of the three following shits; Ad denial – which just means that the ads will be denied, and while they will generate revenues, the amount will be taken out from your next payout. Domain disabling – means that you might have your website suspended, and thus you will no longer be monetized through TrafficStars. Account suspension or closure – the publishers who really do not give a shit about the rules and have gotten a couple of violations or one like serious violation could have their account suspended or closed.
Payments and payouts for publishers
That’s all fun and games, but what about the payments and payouts? Well, it is similar to advertisers. Publishers on TrafficStars can choose from the following payment methods: Paypal in $, Paxum in $, crypto payment (USDT or BTC) in $, Cosmopay in $, European SEPA Transfer in €, ePayService in €, and International WIRE Transfer in $ and €. The payouts will mostly only accept dollars, while the wire transfer accepts both dollars and euro.
As for the minimum payouts, they go like this: for PayPal, Epayservice, Cosmopay and Paxum, the minimum payout is $100. For crypto payments, the minimum payout is $500. For European SEPA transfer, the minimum payout is $100, and for wire transfer, the minimum payout is from 1k dollars or euro. You can choose from weekly, monthly, and quarterly payment terms.
TrafficStars has a self-billing option for publishers, so you do not have to send a physical invoice. Each week, month or quarter, depending on your plan, an invoice will be generated automatically. It will then appear within your Payment tab when the account reaches the minimum payout necessary for that billing period.
So, what’s the gist?
Well, I am pretty sure that even an idiot can understand how TrafficStars works since their website is built in such a simple way. However, whether this ad-networking platform actually suits your needs or not is a different story. Of course, it all comes down to what the fuck you are actually looking for. But, I am certain that all who are looking for an adult-friendly ad network will enjoy what TrafficStars has to offer.
