If you want to get serious about your business online, then you need to know some really good practices that some online websites employ to stay ahead of the competition. If you want to learn a lot about sites, online businesses, digital marketing, SEO, programming, and so on, you can do it all just by visiting the site Digital Point. The entire domain address is forums.digitalpoint.com and it has pretty much all the information you need for your porn site. Now, this place doesn’t deal with adult sites per se, but a lot of what these people talk about when it comes to other sites is applicable for your site too!
Various forums to learn online business
How do I know this? Well, porn is just a business like any other. If you want to earn money, you need to understand how online websites work and how you can get a lot of money out of it all. Trust me, by the end of this; you’ll be an expert in all those things. The Digital Point Forums have a bunch of shit to offer you. From topics about digital marketing, affiliate programs, and other promotions that you can do for your site, to programming, graphics, and content management. That last one will be quite important for you since you’ll be dealing with a lot of content in the form of videos so keep an eye out on the tips and tricks that you can pick up there. All of this is important, but that is especially so.
Now that you know what the Digital Point Forums are all about in general, we are going to go over all of the different ones and see what each of them has to offer. In short, you have a few sections for all the different forums, and they are as follows: Search Engines, Business & Marketing, Design, Development, Buy, Sell or Trade, and The Digital Point. That last one should have been at the top if you ask me since it has a lot of stuff to check out in the Introduction forum, but I can tell that they wanted to keep all that General stuff at the bottom of the page, and I can get behind that too I guess. So those are the forums.
Search engines, business, and marketing
Let’s start with the first one then. The Search Engines section has three forums for the different search engines, and then there is also a forum for all other search engines and a forum for directories. The three search engines that are explored the most are Google (as expected), Yahoo, and Bing. Now, interestingly, there’s no mention of Yandex, Baidu, Duck Duck Go, and other search engines on their own. You would expect those to rank higher up than Yahoo and fucking Bing, but that’s not the case. The main reason as to why is because Digital Point Forums are mostly targeted at the USA demographic.
So, once you know the ins and outs of search engines and how they work, you are ready to get to business. You are going to go straight to the Business & Marketing section of the site and start exploring the various forums that it has to offer. You have shit like general business, general marketing, SEO, payment processing, social networks, link development, legal issues, domain names, copywriting, eCommerce, pay per click ads, affiliate programs… All of these are popular, but a few of them stand out and you’ll notice which ones they are when you see the number of discussions per each of the forums.
Design and development are also featured
In reality, all of those are really important for your site to work well and you need to invest time in all of them while you are looking to expand your knowledge on all these subject matters. In fact, this next section is quite important too and it has to do with design. First of all, you have the section for HTML & Website Design. This is extremely important since it defines the user experience of the site. Then there’s a forum for Graphics & Multimedia, as well as a forum for Content Management. With that last forum, you will be able to find out what the best solutions are for storing a lot of porn videos on your site as well as how you should approach managing all that content and uploading more of it to your website.
After that, you’ve got development, and let’s face it, this is incredibly important if you want your site to work well. Along with the website design, the site's development is also going to heavily affect the user experience. Imagine this scenario: you do a great job advertising your porn site and ranking it on search engine results. However, the user experience is shit because of bad programming and a bad design. People won’t stay on your site just because your ad was good enough to get them to click and check it out, and that’s why you need good programming, site & server administration, and databases.
Buy and sell sites and domains on the marketplace
After that, you have a section that is all about buying, selling, and trading. The great thing about these forums is that there are regular forums where you can buy and sell, and then there are shop forums where you can buy stuff directly. Some of the regular forums in this section include buying and selling of sites and domains, design contests, advertising, secondhand licenses, and services. The shop forums where you buy shit directly are for plug-ins and add-ons, templates and styles, scripts, designs, eBooks, and Articles. Sites and domains are the most popular here, with each of the forums scoring hundreds of thousands of discussions and comments on all the different topics inside the Digital Point forum.
Why would you want to buy any of this stuff here? Why not just go and buy a domain name on GoDaddy or something? Well, who knows, maybe the domain name you are looking for is taken and they are asking for thousands of dollars to sell it to you. Here you can strike a good deal and if you are a good negotiator, then you will also be able to get a good appraisal on a domain and then buy it at a fair price while making sure that you are getting a bargain for it. So yeah, you should browse the wares and see what the Digital Point Forums have for sale! Who knows, you might just find what you need on here.
Standard and insanely boring forum site design
Then you have The Digital Point section, which is where all the misc shit goes to. There’s also a forum called The Underground and Area 51 and these are private. The Underground is available if you register, which you can do for free, and for Area 51, you need to be a premium member. This means paying money to Digital Point Forums, and I’m not sure if you want to do that. Of course, you can just forget about all that and go to forums.digitalpoint.com in order to gobble up all that knowledge I was talking about earlier. And when you’re bored, there’s always the General Chat to cheer you up.
My only issue with forums.digitalpoint.com is the fact that the site just looks fucking boring as heck. It’s also not connected to porn that much and a lot of the discussions tend to go into some of the most boring eCommerce business practices where people are selling all kinds of boring crap on their sites. Of course, every now and then, you will find someone discussing adult sites and that’s great, but if they just worked on their design so that the site doesn’t look like a regular forum platform, that would fix the problem on its own. All in all, there is a lot to explore here and a lot to take in. If I were you, I would check this place out and read all of the important stuff to get my porn site ready at a really good level.
