But, as it turns out, Majestic has a different way of calculating backlink scores. You see, instead of just looking at the number of links leading to your site, Majestic uses a metric called Flow. Flow Metric consists of a couple of different metrics such as Citation Flow and Trust Flow, and there’s also Visibility Flow to complement the two. All of those are great, and they have their place in the equation when calculating your website’s SEO score.

Flow Metric is so good because it calculates backlink strength using website authority. Site authority is basically how well-known and important your site is. Basically, it looks at the sites that link to your website and check whether humans or bots curate those sites. Let’s face it; algorithms are getting smarter and noticing cheating.

Also, Majestic offers all these metrics on both a URL and domain level. It doesn’t limit itself to a single dimension regarding these things like many other backlink checkers out there. I find that incredibly useful since I’m looking for deeper insights into the backlinks on my website. If my porn site has many backlinks, but they aren’t worth shit, then is my site really any good? Luckily, I have several pages linking to me with high authority, so I know that I’m in the clear. I know not every porn site has $50 a month to spare on these tools, but if you want to get more traffic in the long run and bring your porn site to a new level, you should look into all of these tools here.
