Domain Dispute Lawyer! Lawyers are like police; no one likes to deal with them, but there are unfortunate circumstances where you just have to. If you are going to have to, then it’s best to get ahold of the best of either profession.
Too bad it is that you can’t pick the policeman you encounter at a crime scene or a traffic stop. You do have the chance to pick the legal expert you get, advice, and representation from. Getting a good lawyer will be crucial if you are running an online business of any sort, especially anything involving intellectual property.
As we all know, there is no shortage of pirated material out on the web. Then there is the issue of data hacks and privacy breaches. In either event, you may have recourse – even in the age of the net – through Domain Dispute Lawyer.
Read on to find out what I’m talking about.
This Is What This Law Firm Offers
Founded and run by Chad Anderson, this law firm is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Yes, he is a professional attorney, and it would appear that he’s looking for clients. Specifically, this law firm reports focusing on privacy and security law. The domain’s name suggests that Mr. Anderson also has some background in DMCA disputes, though I may be reaching.
Since it’s relevant, I’ll mention to leading lawyer’s background. He’s been practicing since 1998 and passed the bar in ’02. Further, Anderson has also served in the Supreme Court of a couple of states and higher courts throughout the United States.
Get In Touch With This Firm In A Matter Of Seconds
If you think you could use these services, then simply click over to the DDL site and tap the Contact Us page. There, you will see a standard contact page with all of the usual fill-in bars. They want to know your name, email, subject of inquiry, and message. Also, there is an option to get regular updates via email, but as we’ll see, I doubt this and other services are as good as they sound.
I Have A Series Of Things I’d Like To See Improved
Usually, when I do these sorts of reviews, I tend to focus on the service or products advertise rather than focus on the website. But seeing how it is not clear how this law firm operates, I have to comment on the web design.
There is a frustrating level of vagueness
I was able to glean from the homepage that DDL does focus on digital privacy violations and the other things that I mentioned earlier. But other than that, there isn’t much else that is advertised here. There is not much else in terms of different legal specialization areas, office hours aren’t listed, and you don’t get an idea of how much this firm’s services will cost you.
Out of the four pages described, one has no relevant information, and the other, the Attorneys page, only lists a single lawyer, Mr. Anderson. Not only that, but it also refers to higher courts that this man has served in, not his entire CV.
This is perhaps the biggest issue that needs to be changed.
I want more contact options
The contact information provided is decent enough, but it would be nice to have more options to contact this office. After all, people provide more of their services online, especially after the craziness related to coronavirus. If I were running Domain Dispute Lawyer, I would at least add the option to get a consultation via Skype.
Why aren’t Mr. Anderson’s credentials not mentioned?
I already went over the leading lawyers’ credentials, but I did not get them from the DDL website. In fact, it took me a few different, precise search terms, but I did find Chad Anderson’s professional info.
Frankly, it amazes me that I had to go to such lengths to verify that this Chad Anderson is a licensed lawyer. Granted, I was not skeptical that this guy was legit, but it would be better if that information were on his website.
In case Mr. Anderson reads this, I am not dissing you personally. This is all meant to be professional criticism, and if you need help with a redesign, I might be able to help you.
I Have Only A Few Parting Words Now
Well, there isn’t too much else to say, other than good luck when it comes to using this legal firm’s services. I have a gut feeling that Mr. Anderson is a good guy and all, and he clearly has been in the business for so long, he’s got to have an idea of what he’s talking about.
Still, when I consider that he seems to be the only legal expert at his office and operates in one corner of one country, it’s hard to be too praiseworthy. He very well may give out legal advice over the phone or via email, but I can’t say that he will factually.
There isn’t much in terms of details about how this operation goes. So, I would say that you might want to give this office a call if you’re in a pinch and can’t get any other help.
