Domain Hunter Gatherer
domainhuntergatherer.com
The first time you log onto DomainHunterGatherer.com, you may feel like you’ve landed on the wrong site. There is a cartoon model that’s spoofing Fred Flintstone. But there isn’t anything fucking cartoonish about this domain hunting site.
Calling it a site isn’t exactly truthful, either. You can learn about what the tools have to offer. To take advantage of any of them, you have to download a tool to take advantage of what Domain Hunter Gatherer offers. That may turn a lot of people off, so let’s get that bullshit out of the way right now. If that turns you off, well, I don’t know what to tell you, bro.
Cannot use tools on the site
Let’s talk about that goddamn elephant in the room. No, you cannot use any tools directly from the site. Domain Hunter Gatherer does not have Web-based tools. Instead, you have to download the tool directly to your desktop. Not your mobile device, but your desktop. It feels fucking old-school like the tool has not been updated in so long that the minds behind Domain Hunter Gatherer have not bothered to update their tools and make them usable via the Web like every other similar tool in the 21st century.
But if it isn’t broke, don’t fucking fix it. If you can get past the fact that you have to use a downloadable tool like a neanderthal, you will find that Domain Hunter Gatherer updates its database every time the tool is opened. That means that even though the method and even the interface feels like it is out of date (user-friendly, but out of date), it still works like a charm. You get access to the latest expiring domains across all of the most popular domain-purchasing platforms, all in one place.
If searching for expiring domains is the only thing you are interested in and want a metasearch engine that looks for it all for you, this is the fucking tool you need to use. No, it isn’t pretty. Yes, you should be wondering why Domain Hunter Gatherer.com does not use Web tools in this day and age. But it is what it is. It works like a charm, and for that alone, it is worth at least trying out and taking for a spin.
Powerful tool suite
When you download Domain Hunter Gatherer and open it for the first time, you may not know where to start. Everything is on one page. Although the user interface and the tool's overall look and design make it feel like it was developed years ago, it’s still really fucking easy to navigate the tool and click on the various sections and tools that the suite has to offer.
After I jumped on the tool suite for the first time, I noticed that there were tools available that would allow me to find the expiring domains that I was searching for easily. Free users can use the Domain Auction Hunter tool. This tool takes the pain out of searching for expiring domains and general domains currently on the auction block. If you have ever bought a domain via GoDaddy’s auction service, then you know how this works.
The tool will show you the domain, currency accepted, auction price, buy it now price (if applicable), bid number when it ends, characters in the URL, and even if there is a hyphen, the age of the domain, and a fuck load of more options. It’s a tool that makes download the entire suite worth the effort, but that is not where it ends!
There are other tools in this suite, but you will have to upgrade to the Premium or Pro tiers of membership to take advantage of them. You will have access to tools like Web 2.0 Hunter, Expired Domain Hunter, DomDetail, DomRecovery, and more if you do. While I would have liked to have seen even more tools included in the free version, it is easy to see why the rest of them are hidden behind a goddamn paywall. It sucks, and it may be infuriating to some. Still, when the Domain Auction Hunter tool is so useful and easy to use on its own, it is hard to bitch about the kind of value that this awesome tool suite brings to the table.
Search for new domains by keyword
Since most of you adult entrepreneurs are going to want to start with the free version of Domain Hunter Gatherer, let’s stick with the Domain Auction Hunter tool for a second longer. When you begin using it, you have to first search by a particular keyword to get the most out of the tool. Which keyword you choose to search by is entirely up to you. You could use a tool like Google Trends to find lucrative keywords or other tools where keyword research is streamlined and not a huge chore.
That’s another discussion for another time. The point is that figuring out the keyword – or a variant on those keywords – is paramount to finding the right site in the niche that you are interested in. After you find the keyword, you want to use – say, ‘sex’ or ‘throbbing’ – insert it into the keyword field. From there, add any search parameters that you prefer, like the extension or the number of characters in the URL. Click search, and you will find the domains that are currently being auctioned. Some of these may be expiring domain links; others may be sites that are just going to auction due to the seller.
I searched for ‘sex’ to see how many domains I found. Let me tell you; there were a fucking lot! I found over 2000 domains currently getting auctioned off that matches the keyword for ‘sex.’ Whether it surprises you or not to learn, many of them were sexual.
When I wanted to see which domains would be the most lucrative if I were a buyer, I clicked on the tab auction price to sort the most/least expensive auctions of the moment. When I wanted to see which auctions were ending the soonest, I clicked the ends tab to see which auctions would be around the longest versus which ones were wrapping up. There was a fucking huge divide here, with the longest auction having over 2300 days remaining to the shortest one ending in just 14 hours.
The sorting options may not sound like they are anything to get excited about, but to be able to sort this kind of information on-the-fly quickly and easily is fucking awesome. Too many marketplaces like these make it where sorting and looking through the content is a chore and not that user-friendly, but Domain Hunter Gatherer is anything but. The ease-of-use of the tool and the ability to sort basically anything without any restrictions is refreshing. It’s easy to see why so many people are regular subscribes to this outstanding resource, and why it’s probably going to be around for years to come.
Great way to find potentially lucrative XXX domains
Even though the over 2000 domains that popped up were a lot to fucking look at, it wasn’t full of junk domains that will never attract visitors or generate a profit. No, you won’t find primarily domains like popmyanalcherrythatmeansmybutthole.com or domains with long characters or extensions nobody has ever heard of. I don’t care how awesome fuckmypussy.now may sound when you say it aloud: that doesn’t mean it’s going to be a lucrative domain just because it sounds like an order when you say the domain to your buddies.
But it’s easy to find domains in the rough here if you do enough digging. Because Domain Hunter Gatherer searches across all kinds of marketplaces, I came across a few domains that were pretty goddamn tempting. One of them was SexyASMR, which was available for only $20 for whatever fucking reason. ASMR is huge, and sexual ASMR is a damn growing sub-genre in its own right. For anyone looking to make a site and needed an idea, that’s a domain that could pay the right adult entrepreneur back in spades.
As you can see, Domain Hunter Gatherer is not going to be the only resource you use when finding domain auctions, expiring auctions, and so on. Yet, it is an excellent resource for the adult entrepreneur that wants to cross-check certain keywords and see what domains are valuable and conduct their research as they figure out what kind of niche, site, and ultimately which domain they want to purchase, develop, and profit from.
Consider Domain Hunter Gatherer just another tool in your repertoire of adult entrepreneur tools. Upgrading from free to a top-tier plan may be right for some, but for others, they will want to pass on the upgrade. At the end of the day, though, if you want an easy method for finding cheap and profitable domains that won’t cost a fucking arm and a leg, this is one resource worth checking out.
Suggestions:
Domain Hunter Gatherer.com is a downloadable tool that makes finding cheap domain auctions and expiring domains alike easy as hell. Unfortunately, many people may not like the fact that they have to download a tool to even use the domain tool suite. They also may not like that many of the tools in the Domain Hunter Gatherer tool suite are available for premium members only. However, the Domain Auction Hunter tool is powerful despite being free. Domain Hunter Gatherer should not change anything, but the nature of the tool could turn some people off.
