This page should theoretically give you detailed information regarding how to sign up for traffic exchange along with the details that lie therein. Unfortunately, visiting the webmaster’s page brings up an error.

Indeed, it seems like it is impossible to visit this page as of this review. To learn more about SwapSmut’s traffic exchange, you are going to have to reach out to them via e-mail. I’m sure that they will get back to you with the details that you need. At the time of writing this review, they are accepting traffic exchanges.

Since they are accepting traffic exchanges, why in the hell is the webmaster page offline? This would make interested webmasters think that they are no longer accepting traffic exchanges. Or that the program has been shuttered altogether. This is not the case. But if I wasn’t telling you that, would you think that SwapSmut isn’t interested in traffic exchanges? Fuck yes, you would!

The only way to get any information about the traffic exchange was to use the Wayback Machine. I had to go back to May 2017 to access a page that did not give me the same error page. It seems that this page has been offline for a few years, which should not be the case. Once I finally found a snapshotted page that didn’t result in an error, I was able to look at the information about the program.

Keep in mind that this page is basically four years old as of this review. The details of the traffic exchange may have changed. But to give you a general idea, SwapSmut (seems to) use the Arrow Trader family of traffic exchange scripts. Specifically, SwapSmut points to using Arrow Trader Lite as its traffic exchange script. That is an outdated script; Arrowscripts has written a tutorial on how to upgrade from Arrow Trader Lite to Arrow Trader Core. Thus, I assume this has replaced ‘Lite’ since the last snapshot was taken.

Even so, the snapshot gives you an idea regarding what you can expect from SwapSmut. They want the exact details about your adult site as any other site that accepts traffic exchanges would ask for. Of course, you cannot include this in the easy-to-fill-out form on the webmasters’ page (since, you know, it’s offline). Again, e-mail SwapSmut and inquire about the traffic exchange. And if you find out that they are interested in your proposal, be prepared to provide them with these key pieces of information.

Easy to get started and approved

With all of SwapSmut’s bullshit out of the way, how easy is it actually to get started? It turns out that it’s pretty fucking simple for you to get the ball rolling. SwapSmut states that sign-ups are approved within 24-hours of request. That is because they check for quality trades every single day.

They do not specify what ‘quality’ trades mean. Do they mean that they are looking for porn sites that already have a lot of traffic? If so, what is the minimum amount of hits your site needs per week, month, etc., to qualify for the traffic exchange? There is no indication.

Still, it’s nice to know that if you are indeed the kind of site SwapSmut is looking for; you can be approved within 24-hours. That’s a nice perk. It indicates that they want to waste as little time as you do.

After you decide that you want to exchange traffic with SwapSmut, I suggest e-mailing your information to them. You will probably want to add the same information as the sign-up request form required a few years ago. Namely, the domain name, URL/URLs you want traffic to be driven to, and e-mail. This will give them everything that they will need to set up a traffic exchange between your site/URL and their site.

Again, SwapSmut needs to fix the webmaster page at the bottom of the homepage. Webmasters like you should be able to sign up for traffic exchange with ease. However, e-mailing this information should do the trick and let them know that you are interested in setting up a relationship between the two of you.

Site is fucking quality

But what about the content of the site? Will your visitors want to visit SwapSmut? Does it make sense to link from your site to SwapSmut at all? Does your audience and the traffic on SwapSmut align?

It turns out that those questions ultimately do not fucking matter. If you think I’m goddamn crazy, let me fill you in: I’m not. None of these details really matter because SwapSmut has content for nearly any kind of niche. I’m not jerking your cock around, either.

If you look through the categories on the main page, you will find that it is packed with all types of categories and kinks. Your audience is going to find something that they fucking love on here. The best part of all? SwapSmut states that you can link to any page on its site!
