But for me, the thing that name reminds me of one of my favorite sources for news and other things related to the commercialization and celebration of sex. There were many reasons why, but I managed to contain myself to half a dozen major points.

Fresh News Articles Delivered on a Daily

There is no shortage of subsections that cater to just about anyone's interest. Just look at the thorough, somewhat busy menu, and you'll see what I'm talking about. So rather than go through every possible topic, we're going to look at where to find the most important and niche posts.

General News – With a 24/7 news cycle, it seems like the world moves faster than ever before. Shit, with the effects of a globally connected world, in many ways it is. With so much coming down the pipe when it comes to new happenings in adult entertainment, it can be hard to keep up.

It's no secret that we're treated to new uploads from our favorite smut producers on a weekly basis, but there is so much stuff coming out just from the elites you can see over a dozen posts in a single day.

Novel Technology – Just like software, the world of hardware is changing just as fast. And since one of the fastest drivers of technology is and has always been pornography, it's no surprise that there are many posts in this genre.

The thing is, those of you who do get work as developers, marketers, and lawyers probably aren’t going to be interested in most of these posts. The focus tends to be on tedious shifts in the porn business or sometimes a country’s legal climate.

However, there is one tech-related part of the site that will absolutely fascinate all of you. The Virtual Reality pages have almost daily uploads, which are all about the hottest starlets' newest simulated reality erotic experience.

With each upload, you'll get a brief review, links to where you can buy it as well as where you should go to follow the starring performer on social media.

Op-Eds – You may be shocked, but I've got a strong opinion on everything and have respect for other people who do, too. The writers at XBIZ certainly do, though they don't use the same amount of smug, politically incorrect, crassness that I do.

That's not to say there aren't any good opinion pieces or advise columns. In fact, I'd say that if you are looking for professional advice, if you're new to porn entrepreneurship, you need to be reading these articles.

Gay & Trans – Just like the main site, the gay section is packed with news on recent gay porn releases, changes big studios have undergone, porn career advice for guys who have a high number on the Kinsey scale. Pretty good all around, I'd say, and definitely a place to check out since they advertise a lot of specials on same-sex smut.

XBIZ also has a special section dedicated to trans news, too, which you don't often see on sites like these. I am aware that many of you have a thing for gals with extra meat, so look XBIZ up. This is not just because this is one of the few places to get the low down on trans erotica, but also because you'd be surprised by how much is covered.

Europe – As with so many things, the focus on porn news is incredibly US-centric. Sure, most of the quality and a good chunk of the gutter smut is from America. Still, it does bother me a bit that other regions of the world don't get as much attention from journalists.

This is one of the neat ways that XBIZ differs from the competition yet again. In this subsection, they've got entertainment news, updates on the British and European legal system, and related topics.

Trendy Stuff – People have always wanted to know what the new thing is, perhaps more than ever in the internet age. And thanks to everyone having net-capable devices, everyone can engage in their fetish for finding out what everyone else is interested in knowing.

Naturally, the stuff which is popular on XBIZ can change often. However, when I looked at everything, I saw a few consistent patterns. First, you'll often see articles from all of the subsections mentioned above and more. Second, a lot of older posts stay popular for quite a while.

Lastly, what the readers of XBIZ seem to like tend to be much more intellectual in nature. That doesn’t mean they are boring or hard to read. In fact, they can be both incredibly informative and sexually exciting at the same time. It’s a long one, but my recommendation is that you look up the “Too Taboo? You may have heard of a website of note called ThePornDude.com. I mention it because it too was created by yours truly, and it’s only the best porn website review on the net. If you're looking for where to find the best sites, go there.

But I never did too much work on reviewing an entire ninety-minute or so film. Just don’t get too excited – these are generally safe for work and aren’t packed with bare pussy. Still, it is a nice little addition to all of the other fun things to be seen on the many XBIZ webpages.

You could occasionally check their Events page to stay up-to-date, but a better way to go about it would be to subscribe to their newsletter. It's free to join, only requires an email address, and has a neat break down of the XBIZ highlights of the week.

But why stop at just being a consumer. If you’ve got an opinion related to XBIZ posts or you work inside the business, they are always looking for indie submissions. You will have to get an account to be eligible, but other than that, the writer's requirements are reasonable.

Is This A CNRTL+D Worthy News Site?

Now there’s usually a point in these reviews I have a list of things to complain about, and I'm pretty good at coming up with something. When I went over XBIZ, I found I almost came up empty.

The one thing I will say was definitely disappointing was the lack of nudity. Even in the movie reviews where the focus of a promo pic is of a lovely busty babes breasts, the goddamn nipples are censored!

Okay, let me get this straight, tipping porn professionals on how to please customers for tips is okay. Promoting sex toys that vibrate at five or more speeds is dandy. But showing one of the most beautiful features that females have is a bridge too far?

On first look, I almost felt like I was looking at a Christian website.

That bit of hyperbole aside, the only other problem I had was more or a difference of opinion. Most blogs can run up to 3,000 words, and it's generally recommended you don't dip below 750. The posts on XBIZ are typically a couple hundred words or less, while some others range up to almost 8,000 words.

I get being concise and understand that there are microblogs out there. However, you usually wouldn't want to use that style on a site like this. But hey, it seems to be working for them.

Regardless, this is an excellent blog you should save to favorites and check out every day, in addition to mine, of course.
