FUBAR Webmasters

There are all sorts of means to make it in the adult entertainment industry. You can get in through by being a webcam model, photographer, studio exclusive, or any number of methods.
However, just because you've got your foot in the door by working on- or offscreen doesn't mean you've made it. From what I've seen, that's just the beginning. To get into the big leagues in the smut business, perhaps the biggest factor is who you know.
Frustratingly, this can be the hardest aspect of breaking into the skin industry, which prevents folks from moving forward. Through FUBAR Webmasters, you might have an advantage given what they offer.
To see why, keep on reading, and don't forget to share this around the interwebs when you are finished.
Let’s Start With the Basics
To be honest, this website was a little bit difficult to put into a single category. If I had to try to put FUBAR's mission into a single phrase, I'd say that they are a promotional company that specializes in the sex industry.
Sure, that sounds vague, so let me explain FUBAR using their own words; this site is…
“F.U.B.A.R., an acronym for Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition, is "The Adult Webmaster Resource Site" for party, conference, convention and event pictures and news relating to Adult site Webmasters. F.U.B.A.R. is also a name adult webmasters have come to depend on to show them who's who and what's what.”
If that's confusing, don't overthink it. FUBAR Webmasters is a service that allows you to network with other professionals in the porn world and a few other things. That doesn't mean that through this website, you will meet big titted porn stars in no time flat. Instead, you are going to want to seek out other pornographers who promote the best enterprise on the
They Network and Promote With Several Adult Industry Pros
I'll get into this later, but this site has a series of posts in blog and e-magazine form. If you check both, you’ll see that this organization does promote all sorts of personas in the porn business. And I do mean quite a bit of them from all over the business.
The individuals and organizations they have worked with and promoted include hentai-promotors such as ImLive, payment facilitators like Mobius Pay, websites like PornHub, and pornstars, including Ty Roderick. These are the heavy hitters in the business, so I think that if you have the gumption to put yourself out there, FUBAR can probably help you.
Assuming you've got some form of fanbase already, you should use this website's Submit PR service. If that doesn't work, try using the Contact Us page.
Let’s Look at the Way to Make Money And the Pricing Scheme
This is actually a smaller aspect of FUBAR, but worth bringing up now since this relates to how you might be able to make money right now through this site. But you will have to spend a decent chunk of change for that to happen.
By advertising on FUBAR Webmasters, you can promote yourself (or I suppose someone else’s) porn information on this site. The cost is based on two factors: paying monthly and the size of the banner you want to purchase.
To give you all of the important details in specific terms, a banner the size of…
• 180 x 150 = $200/month
• 300 x 100 = $350/month
• 440 x 90 = $475/month
• 728 x 90 = $650/month
• 1200 x 120 = $2,250/month
Also, a 160 x 600 tower banner will run you a whopping $1,500, but you'll only have to pay that fee once. There are additional stipulations on that last one, so you'll have to discuss the particulars with FUBAR. There are similar payment schemes for top and bottom gallery pictures, too, and main page ads will be a bit pricier.
They Have Plenty of Upcoming Events As Well
This is perhaps the most significant benefit of what FUBAR offers. Being structured around networking people in the skin biz, one of the main draws to this platform is becoming aware of the big meetups worldwide.
Well, I suppose the world, as is so often the case when it comes to these things, refers to events in North America and Europe. FUBAR has advanced posts about soon to come shows and events located in Eastern and Central Europe, the British Isles, Canada, and Stateside.
When you attend these events, you'll be able to get to meet with the big movers and shakes in the sex recording enterprise. From what I can tell, most of them include the behind-the-camera sort of folks in the business. No matter if you are trying to promote yourself in front of the camera or from a production standpoint, you'll have a good deal of opportunities if you know how to interact with people.
Let Us Breakdown The Positives of This Web Service
Getting free stuff is great, and while you'll have to pay for some services (in some cases quite a lot), you do get a decent number of things for free. Even when it comes to the B2B features, you can get an account for free. Sure, you’ll have to pay more on the backend, but the signup process is even more streamlined than most porn websites.
Did you miss an event or couldn't attend a submit for one reason or another? That's no problem at all. Through their Videos page, you can see bite-sized segments of video clips to get a good idea of what you missed out on. And the better part is this: you don't need to have an account and can watch them for free on the site or through the FUBAR YouTube page.
Speaking of the leading video sharing platform, FUBAR has a decent presence on popular social media services as well. If you can’t get enough of FUBAR’s updates, you can find this site’s owners posting on Facebook and Twitter.
I Have A Few Problems With FUBAR, Though
As I brought up before, there are tons of blogs archived. On its face, that's good and all, but there are several problems I have with their News section. For one, new additions are made literally just a few times a year.
And that's no exaggeration; check it out for yourself. I mean, there's so much going on in the adult industry. This web service is supposedly connected with so many folks in the business. So, why aren't there more regular posts?
The blogs themselves cover a fine number of topics, but there are several writers used. Again, on the face of it, that's not a bad thing. However, some are a pain in the ass to read. While they are readable from a grammatical standpoint, some posts are so poorly formatted it’s a strain on the eyes to read.
If you ask me, this is true if you are reading this site using a desktop or mobile device as well.
This a minor complaint, but the Resource page looks pretty bare to me. I almost wonder why the webmasters included it since there are only two links, one to XBIZ and another to YNot. They aren’t even dressed up with an explanation or a paragraph as to what you are going to find on those links.
In case the people running this site are reading, here's an idea. I'd add to this page in some way or another or ax it all together. By the way, I'll recommend my readers look up my reviews on XBIZ and YNot. I know you'll enjoy those articles just as much as this one.
Given the Option, Here’s What I Would Add
Sure it’s not too much related to the service, but my first critique is an aesthetic one. While it’s not broken, the website looks decent enough across machines; I still think it’s fucking ugly. Sure, that’s not a knock on the services provided by this website.
But if you are trying to promote your advert product, it would be nicer to see a more exciting. To sum up the visual suck factor, the use of mustard yellow, red, and grey is an eyesore to look at. I think that the design should be entirely redone.
Further, I really believe that the blog should be more regularly updated so long as there is an editor or two who can clean things up.
Since this is supposed to be a website to network with others, I cannot believe that there isn't a proper online forum. Hands down, this is my biggest complaint about FUBAR and the first thing I would add to this platform.
So, Here Is My Analysis of All of the Net Pros and Cons
Scoring this website was, for me, a little tricky. Part of that was because of the high hit-or-miss nature of the web services. The other big thing was the sheer number of services provided by FUBAR.
As far as advertising goes, I'd really go elsewhere to pay money to advertise. To me, the price is too steep, and there are far better platforms that you can leverage to make money promoting your own pages or someone else’s.
That said, there are a fair number of ways you can get in touch and certainly stay up-to-date with happenings with folks in the world of fap entertainment. Plus, you can get all of this information at no cost to you.
Are there flaws and things I would change? Yes, there are – still, I imagine that this is a fine website to use if you know how to use it. I give it three and a half hands and think that you can make these services work for you if you are a driven professional.
Good luck to you all; try the website's services out for yourself, and let me know what you think.
