Lots of great plugin tips on the blog
I don’t usually give a shit what a company’s blog has to say. Hell, I rarely visit it unless there is a chance that I’ll see a pair of titties. But something spurred me to check out PublishPress’ blog, and I have to tell you that I am glad I did.
You won’t see me even mentioning a company’s blog on here because most of the time, none of the content is that helpful. It’s usually used for SEO purposes, and while the content on similar sites is usually okay, it’s the same kind of by-the-numbers posts you come across all the fucking time. Do you need to see another blog post that details the top reasons why you should be using social media to market your brand? Fuck no, you already know all of that bullshit!
PublishPress does not add to the static here. Instead, they actually publish blog posts with good information that is actually helpful. I went through one blog post after another, reading about what they had to say, and it was a lot of useful WordPress tips that will help inexperienced and seasoned WordPress users alike.
Written in just the last few days, there were posts about content scheduling in WordPress, tips on how to use some of the plugins (the Guttenberg plugin had multiple posts about it within the last month alone), and so much more. There were details about revising, fixing missing content after a post update, and all kinds of posts that actually taught me a thing or two about how to use WordPress better.
That’s right, folks. Just skimming the blog posts on PublishPress, I learned new things that I probably never would have learned unless I did a couple of Google searches. Even then, I don’t know if any of the blog posts would have been as informative as the posts on PublishPress. They explained all of the more technical bullshit in terms that anyone can understand, complete with graphics and data that allowed me to understand certain concepts much easier.
What’s great about the blog is that there is new content all the fucking time. There is a new post about every day – sometimes multiple posts per day – and none of them read like filler. If you care about getting the most out of these plugins and mastering a blog on WordPress to begin with, you owe it to yourself to at least read a few of these posts. Otherwise, you may find yourself needlessly searching for YouTube tutorials, Googling how-to articles, and trying to figure out where the fuck to go from here. Stop searching and worrying about it: the blogs on PublishPress spill a lot of your answers for you.
Publishing plugins for WordPress - all in one place
The first thing I urge every new visitor to do whenever they land on PublishPress is to select the plugins tab at the top of the page. It’s on the top left corner of the website, and you will see all of the plugins developed by PublishPress. I will go through what they all mean later, but for now, take a look at this collection and see which plugins could be beneficial to your website. If you are operating an adult blog, I have no reason to doubt that any of these plugins are ones that you should pass on by. At the very least, you need to have a general understanding of how they all work.
Some of these plugins have simple functions. For example, one plugin allows you to add more than one author and guest author to a WordPress post instead of just one. Another shows you essentially every fucking permission on your WordPress site, to which you can then approve or disapprove any of these permissions.
Some of these permissions are advanced as fuck though, so unless you know what you are doing or learn what to do before proceeding, you may want to tread lightly on this plugin. That isn’t to say that it’s bad or hard to use since seasoned WordPress users will know what most permissions mean, but if you are not that experienced with essentially doing brain surgery on your WordPress site, I would suggest not clicking on anything that you do not know anything about on this plugin.
The takeaway is that if you need powerful publishing plugins for your WordPress site, you are going to find them with PublishPress. This all-in-one plugin suite is perfect for giving you even more publishing power as you improve your adult blog even further. At least a few of these plugins should be in the toolbox of every blog owner, so try them out, browse them, and see how beneficial they can be for your adult blog!
Wide variety of plugins to choose from
There are approximately seven different plugins to choose from:
• PublishPress Authors
• PublishPress Capabilities
• PublishPress Checklists
• PublishPress (core plugin)
• PublishPress Permissions
• PublishPress Revisions
• Advanced Gutenberg
Check out the list for yourself to learn more about them. While I’m not going to dig deep into every single one of them, I will point out a few that I think will stand out to you the most. I’ve already mentioned several, but one of the ones that really impressed me was the checklist plugin.
If you have ever tried to publish content per a strict schedule, you know how easy it can be to miss a deadline. Just when you think you are all caught up, that deadline slips by all because you failed to finish the piece in time. To avoid these mishaps and ensure that your adult blog is posting content regularly, this checklist will allow you to insert tasks that must be completed before your content can be published.
The beauty about this plugin is that you can choose which tasks must be completed no matter their nature. Whether you need to ensure that a quote or two are added to the post or you want to ensure that the content mentions several keywords throughout the body of the content, you can ensure that writers and/or yourself knows what they must do before the content is published.
Another plugin that really stood out to me was Advanced Gutenberg. This plugin gives you a fucking insane amount of control over the WordPress block editor. If you have ever used it, you probably know how infuriating it can be. The blocks can be difficult to drag and drop, to align with the rest of your content, and it can take a long time to get it just right. You don’t have that kind of time, so what fuck with it?
Advanced Gutenberg allows you to say ‘goodbye’ to this kind of bullshit and puts the power in your hands. You can easily add blocks such as content blocks, image and video blocks, testimonial blocks, and more. Moreover, you can even add gallery enhancements and a block highlighting your latest posts and products/services. It takes the guesswork and the infuriation out of customizing and making your blog look like your very own, and to this end, the annual subscription rate is worth the cost just for Advanced Gutenberg alone.
Inexpensive for what you get
If you think that any of these plugins will cost a fucking insane amount, you will be surprised to find out that this just is not the case. If you want to add all of these plugins to one site, it will only cost you the low cost of $69 per year. If you want to add these plugins up to five websites, it’s $149 per year. For those who wish to use the plugins on an unlimited number of sites, the cost rises to $299 per year.
That’s still ridiculously inexpensive. For what you are getting and the amount of control that you will have over your adult blog, it’s more than worth the cost. Try it out – I think you will become a believer.
