Member Shop! If you're selling something or are looking to buy something, you should definitely spend some time learning more about payment processing sites! I'm pretty sure any of the sites that offer these kinds of services would do you just fine, but wouldn't you want to pick the best one for you? There are different ways payments can be made, but I think the best one might be the MShop.one which is short for MemberShop!
I don't know how familiar you are with the whole payment process, but usually, when you are selling something through another site, you need to pay a monthly fee to use their services. Now, I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it might not be the best option for someone who's just getting into the business and has no money to waste. So, why does this place stand out when most of the payment processing sites do their thing pretty similarly? Well, the first thing they let you know is that there is no monthly fee for their services!
It sounds pretty strange that someone would go out of their way to let you use their services for transactions and ask for nothing in return, right? Well, that's not exactly what this place does. Instead, they take a percentage of your transaction every time you sell something. It's hard for me to say whether this is better than paying a fixed monthly fee or not, but for beginners, this is definitely the way to go with. You might earn a little less on each transaction, but at least you won't have to pay those hefty fees while still trying to get your business up and running!
The more you sell, the less you pay
Now, you must be wondering what the fuck this dude is talking about, but it's true. They made a whole page telling you more about their services and how much you will have to pay to use them. For instance, anyone whose total sales are under $100.000 will lose 15% on each transaction because that's the fee MemberShop takes. I don't know about you, but it kind of sounds a lot just for a place that lets you use them as the "middleman!" However, the more your sales go, the less money you will have to give away, but the difference is not as big as some would want.
If your sales are between $100k and $200k, you will lose 14.9% on each transaction, and if your lifetime sales are over $1 million, you will lose 14.5% for each transaction. Technically, you are getting a better deal the more successful you become, but who are we kidding? You are still going to pay the same amount of money for each transaction, so this means jack shit to me!
There's the additional fee of $0.30 on top of the percentage I previously mentioned. I have no idea what it's that for, but you have to pay the price if you want to use their services. Since you know how much they will take from you, you can set the price how high you want. Make up your mind on how much profit you expect from your business, and adjust prices accordingly, so you still get plenty of money after that fee is taken from you!
You can sell anything
If you take a look at the homepage, you will see that they mention all kinds of things you can sell through them, but they forgot to mention adult stuff. I kind of understand why they would do that, but software, courses, pictures, videos, are ideas are not the only thing you can sell here. It doesn't matter what business you are; if you want to sell your product through this place, you'll be able to do so! Of course, you'll get a lot more information once you create an account and get in touch with the people who run this place, but for now, I think I have given you enough information about what you can do!
I'd suggest keeping your prices down to earn, especially if you are just starting. No one in their right mind would overpay for some shit you offer until you get more famous. Only then can you adjust your prices and increase your profits. For example, if you, a beginner, and someone else who's been around for a while, sell the same product for the same price, guess who they are going to pick. You see where I'm going with this, right?
They accept only credit card
I personally don't like using my credit card for transactions on anonymous sites, but I'm pretty sure not everyone thinks about that when purchasing something online. I would prefer it if PayPal or some other form of transaction was available, but by the looks of it, you can use all the major credit cards from countries worldwide. That's another thing worth thinking about because you might lose potential customers just because they have no way of using other types of transactions!
The whole payment process is pretty straightforward, so there's no need to talk about it. You just input your information, and you are good to go. That's the thing I like to see because as soon as I start running into all kinds of problems while paying for shit, I might just turn around and look for the same stuff elsewhere!
Integrate your site with MShop
If you're just getting into the business and don't have a lot of money to spend, you might find this option really useful. Instead of creating your own website, you can put your product right here and save a lot of money you would have to pay for your website. Now, this is really a great thing in the beginning, but you should know you are going to lack a lot of things by putting your product here. There aren't some additional pages filled with a shit ton of information about you and your company. The only thing you see is the product and the price!
Now that you know how this works, you have to decide if it's worth saving a few bucks on creating a site or not. I can't be the one who makes that decision instead of you, but I can help you learn more about these types of services. It looks to me that if you are selling some one-time deals, this might be the right place for you.
I just feel like they are missing a lot of information because you don't get to see enough to make your decision. For example, each of the products they already have can be rated by previous customers. However, that's all you get to see. To me, it makes no difference if I see a five-star rating from a couple of other members or a three-star rating because you can't tell from who those ratings are. As far as I know, the person selling the product could have made all those purchases and left fake reviews.
While roaming around this place, I realized something important. Some of the people selling their stuff just don't give a flying fuck about making a good ad. They didn't even include the basic description of what they offer, so there's no way in hell I would pick that shit without knowing what it is. So, if you plan on promoting your stuff, make sure you include a detailed description because putting a big "pay" button across the whole screen and nothing else isn't the way to go with!
Sell your stuff without paying a monthly fee
Everyone looking to sell something needs a place where they will do their business and still save as much money as possible. Instead of spending money on creating websites for the product you are selling, you can do it all right here. Now, you won't be paying that hefty monthly fee, but you will have to give up a part of your profit for each transaction. This seems like a pretty good deal for anyone just starting their business, but giving up 15% later might not be the best way to go.
The more successful you become, the less money you will have to give up, but let me tell you right away that this means nothing, honestly. The best deal you can get is to give up 14.5% of your transaction as a fee, which is only 0.5% better than the deal you get initially. To me, this seems like the same fucking deal, but yeah, you give up less money the more sales you make.
My opinion is that they should have included more payment methods because you can't use anything but your credit / debit cards. I know that most people have them, but some, including me, don't feel comfortable using them on sites that are still new to them. It would be nice if there were other methods like PayPal and Crypto, but the only thing we can do for now is hope that changes in the near future.
