It's great to have a generalized skill set and even better to be a casual polymath. But I think as we've seen, the more specialized you are, the better off you'll be. However, to stay competitive in the modern world, you really have to work hard to stand out.
Of course, the big problem that everyone has is that no one can do it all since the world is so sophisticated. Even the smartest, introverted online entrepreneurs rely on others from time to time. And when it comes to the saturated adult entertainment industry, this is particularly true.
The shitty thing is, since there is so much stigma around this industry, getting people who will work with you can be tricky. When it comes to getting connected with advertisers who adult entertainment friendly, that’s not too hard.
However, finding marketing specialists and copyrighters is a bit trickier. So, is the talent at Adult Content Writers worth hiring? There are only two ways to find out: 1.) skip to the end for my abbreviated conclusions, and 2.) preferably, read my full review for all of the details.
Why Bother Getting a Copywriter At All?
To be clear, I'm not in close contact with the author in question, and I'm not racking in a fortune for doing this review. However, I make an effort to reach out to the people I talk about, and I do take the time to do my research no matter what.
I bring this up because **spoiler alert** I really like what this guy has to offer, and if you know why you will, too.
But before we get into it, let's talk about why people work as copywriters. Besides being a means of saving you time, professional writers may have a knack for describing ideas or selling a product. In fact, while a lot of writers may have a varied background, eventually, the full-time pros specialize in a few genres. And unlike most folks, ACW is clearly capable and comfortable with producing content about explicit sex.
As we’ll see, besides writing, the person running this business can combine their writing talent with a solid knowledge of marketing.
This Guy Is (Almost) As Talented As Yours Truly
As you can see from the reviews of multiple types of sites just on this website, I'm a pretty talented fucker. However, this guy has a wheelhouse, which I find to be damn impressive, indeed. Without anymore bluster, let's break down the many services ACW offers.
Blog Writing – If you ask me, unless you’re running a review website, just about every site should have a blog section. The reasons are numerous, but some of the bigger justifications include it's a way to advertise what you're providing and keep your audience updated. And by using keywords, you might be able to bring in more visitors organically.
Not everyone can maintain a blog, and that's okay. Obviously, this is the main service that ACW provides, and his conditions are pretty reasonable. Short blogs will only run a mere $15 for 250 words or double that amount for 500 words. Any longer than that, and you'll be charged a flat rate of five cents a word.
For those who don’t know, that’s at the lower end of the quality spectrum and also much better than what you'll find elsewhere. I'll also add that if you buy a bulk amount of blogs, you also get a nice 5% discount. However, rewrites may or may not be free depending on the particulars.
eBook & Manual Creation – I didn't figure this when I first looked ACW up, but apparently, he's back to producing eBooks since people liked his stuff so much. Some of the past stuff he has made, including employee manuals and instruction documents for submissives or sex slaves.
The average cost is between $150-300, and the expected turnaround time is one to two weeks, though a $50 rush fee will speed up the process. As with the blog and everything else, you'll need to pay via PayPal in full, and you can get ahold of ACW relatively quickly via email.
Niteflirt Design – Recently, ACW started developing Niteflirt templates. In fact, he says that he'll come up with another sub-site dedicated just for showing off his samples.
There is one thing you need to know before you consider using this service. To work together well, ACW requires that you have some knowledge of HTML and examples of what you want the final product to look like.
Fortunately, learning the basics of HTML is easy, and there are so many free resources online you'll pick it up quickly no matter what kind of learner you are.
Anyway, once you send in full payment, the turnaround time is one to two weeks.
Phone Sex Character Creation – If you ask me, it’s not enough to come up with a generic phone sex operator. If you need help creating a character for you or your employees to work off of, ACW will draw one up for you for only $65.
The total package includes a name, 200-word biography plus background info, list of fetishes, and location, in addition to a 1,300-word long blog. When you break down what you're paying per word, this is definitely a steal compared to the industry average.
By the way, if you're on a budget, ACW will, for a cool $25, create just a custom phone sex bios.
Erotic Story – Sure, you can go to Fiver and hire a writer to create an erotic story, and you might find someone who hires a lot less than the $75 ACW charges. However, a good number of those "writers" aren’t that talented and may not have the guaranteed turn around time ACW promises.
Social Media Management – Christ, how this guy has time to do anything else is beyond me. Anyway, for $400 per month, ACW will manage one social media account and refresh it with content. If you’re expanding your online business, this may be something you’ll want to consider.
Item or Video Description – The amount of money charged varies due to the specifics. But with a bottom price of $2 per description, I don’t think that’s too bad.
Contract Creation – If you're in the kink scene, especially if you are in a committed relationship, it's a good idea to get a contract with your partner. Hell, I think that just from a personal and legal standpoint, people should consider it to be practically mandatory.
At the end, I'll give my honest opinion about going to ACW for this service. But I should bring up that he does offer dom-sub contracts and for a decent amount of money.
Scripts – Whether they are phone sex operators or things you want your significant other are willing to do for you, getting someone to draw up a script can be helpful if you're not that creative. Generic scripts are too bad, seeing as 10-minute ones are $50, 15-minutes will run you $65, and a half an hour costs $100.
Task lists for subs and slaves are only $25, and for some reason, assignments are just ten bucks more. Lastly, video game scripts (read: dialogue, not programming) start at $60 and go up from there.
Want Something Prepped or Custom? ACW Has a Store of Adult Content, Too
If you're in a rush or impressed by ACW's past work, you can order pre-made bios for erotic characters, which you can use for text, e-message, or phone sex operator. They'll cost a mere $20, and you can get them instantly through the ACW e-store.
In addition to that, there are prepped humiliation tasks for subs for $10-11, escort writing packages, which are a couple of hundred, and even a virtual assistant starter package, which costs $600.
Have you got an idea for a project which we haven't covered so far? As it would seem, ACW accepts custom work applications, too. All you got to do is shoot off an email, and you can get a free online consultation. This, to me, is a super awesome bonus since while lots of big companies do this, I rarely see it with small indie workers.
If that's the route, you're going to go, be aware that ACW works 9 in the morning to eight at night during the week. ACW closes shop four hours earlier on Saturday and is closed on Sundays.
Need Proof of ACW’s Past Work? There Are Samples
As they say, the proof of the pudding is the tasting, and in this case, the evidence of talent is in the reading. Okay, that may not be my best rephrase, but you get what I'm saying.
Anyway, it's easy to say that you do good work, but it's always better to prove it. ACW does a couple of ways, the first being a page linking you to seven websites, which ACW has done. On that same page, you'll also see a few testimonials as well.
Another way you can check ACW's talent is by looking up his blog. If you ask me, everything is well composed, proves that guy is competent and looks super clean overall.
I Bet You Can Guess, But Now For My Conclusion
If you read the whole thing, you know, and if you didn't, I really like the website and everything its owner provides.
Now for the big question: do I have any complaints? To be honest, I do a bit, but they're not too major. While ACW is highly specific about some of his services and what he charges, his site isn't consistent. Of course, he'll tell you if you ask, I'm sure, but it'd be nice to see it before you email.
It would be cool to see more samples right away before you make contact on a related note. To be fair, if you read the full review, you will know that ACW is adding to the site to show off more examples of his work. It would also be cool if ACW accepted payment in methods like Venmo or via a crypto address. Still, since PayPal is super secure and immediate, I get it.
My final complaint is this: I'm sure ACW is a talented marketer-writer. However, I would be nervous about someone who specializes in that also doing work with legal consequences. Sure the cost of about $40 or a little more is a bargain, but I'd get a lawyer to check
