With that said, if you already know what Hunter.io is designed for, I am here to tell you that it has a pretty good rating overall, which just means that they know what the fuck they are doing. Check out the website Hunter.io, or click on the link I provided to learn more.
What is Hunter.io all about?
So, what is an email search solution all about? Well, Hunter.io is designed to help businesses find emails on company websites, compose follow-ups, verify domains, and do a lot more. From what I have seen, this extension is suitable for businesses of all sizes. It is a simple email marketing solution that will help users export domain search results, send emails, attach images in emails, and more.
Hunter.io is based in France, or well, that is where the extension was developed. Over 2 million professionals have the Hunter extension installed, and the number of installations keeps growing. In simple words, this extension will allow you to find email addresses very quickly and connect with the customers that actually matter to your business.
The domain search will show all the people working in a company. So you will see their name and email addresses, which can be found on the web. Instead of searching for this kind of information by yourself, you can simply install Hunter.io and enjoy having this info in seconds There are over 100 million email addresses indexed, with fantastic search filters and scoring. This does make Hunter.io one of the best email-finding tools.
The Hunter.io extension is suitable for Chrome and Firefox. It was founded in 2015 to give professionals the ability to create connections with the customers or clients who matter to their businesses. The extension itself is very simple, transparent, and responsive. So, if you have any issues, you can always just contact them.
How to get started?
This tool will work by merely scouting the internet for email results that you want. You have to abide by the data rules when using the results that are given. So, you should use the search bar and enter a site address that you are interested in.
Then click on “find email addresses.” You will get relevant results, and you can choose to export those addresses to your database. This extension will also let you verify the email addresses you find, and you can ignore the ones that are not valid.
Obviously, the first thing you need to do is register on Hunter.io. Now, this is not a free extension, but there will be a free trial. I shall mention the prices later in the review. The signup process is simple; all you need to do is enter a working email, confirm it, and that is about that. As soon as you register, you will be able to use this extension’s privileges, which is pretty fucking neat.
It is not free
So, how much does Hunter.io actually cost? Well, there will be five different options, including the free option. The free membership will allow you to have 25 searches and 50 verifications a month. That is all you get. However, if you really want to take advantage of what Hunter.io has to offer, you might as well consider some of the regular memberships.
The starter membership is the cheapest one, and it can cost you 49€/month or 34€/month (but you are billed for the entire year). Here you will get 500 searches and 1k verifications a month. Then, the growth membership will cost 99€ a month or 69€ a month (but you are billed for the entire year). Here you get 2500 searches and 5k verifications. As you can see, the numbers just keep growing.
The pro membership costs 199€ a month, or you can pay 139€ a month (but you are billed for the entire year). Of course, here you get more shit overall. The last membership is the priciest one, and it will cost 399€ a month, or 279€ billed annually. Of course, here, you get even more searches and verifications!
All the memberships you pay for will offer full domain search results and exports, which means that you will access all the mail addresses available in the domain search. You will also get full access to Hunter Campaign features, which include the ability to connect up to five Google Workspace accounts where you can send cold emails, you can track the links in the emails, insert images, and so on.
Let’s talk features
I think I pretty much mentioned it all, but let’s just strictly talk about the features. Hunter.io works interestingly, as it helps you grow your business database. There is the Hunter Domain Search, which is a feature that lets you search for a domain of any business that might interest you. Then, the results will be exported as a spreadsheet or loaded into the software or CRM.
There is the email finder, which is definitely the most popular feature that Hunter.io has to offer. As you could have guessed just by checking out the name, this allows you to find the email addresses of businesses and individuals. It will do this by searching through the website address for any email associated with it.
The email verifier will help after you find the emails that you are searching for. This feature will make sure that the addresses that you find are real. It is useful to cut down on the bounced emails. The Bulk task is a feature that will offer full power to the search and verify a complete list of addresses and domains very quickly. This is very useful when you are dealing with businesses that have a lot of data.
There are a lot of other features, but I think the ones I mentioned are the most important. You can check out Hunter.io if you want to know all of the features that the site offers. I do also need to mention that you can connect Hunter to your Gmail account if you wish.
They are hiring
Before I end the review, I want to mention that Hunter.io is now hiring. If you are interested in working with this team, you can check out the “about” page, where all the details will be listed. Currently, they have the “Ruby on Rails Developer” job opened. So, if you are interested, just check that shit out. There is even a full blog on how they hire their staff.
Conclusion
Overall, Hunter.io is a pretty nice extension for what it is made. It will help find all the useful emails from those who could benefit from your business. Hunter.io offers 50 free searches, which is fucking great if you’d want to check it out before buying the monthly or yearly subscription. You get 50 free searches every month.
Hunter.io is very easy to use, navigate through, and all of the features are responsive. I am pretty sure that you will have no issues when browsing through the website; everything is so fucking simple. If you run into any sort of problems, you are more than welcome to contact their customer support. From my experience, their support was pretty neat, and they responded quickly.
This extension’s search results are very reliable, and that is mostly because the users can use the search and then verify the results. This means that you get to weed out the fake addresses! Since you can connect Hunter.io to your Gmail, you can link it with the Google Sheets; thus, it is much easier to have a proper email marketing system.
Of course, every extension has its pros and cons, and while I enjoyed almost everything that Hunter.io has to offer and how it works, there are some things that bugged me a bit. Although you get 50 free searches a month, the prices overall are a bit high. Hunter.io does not allow LinkedIn integration anymore, and it will only search for business emails, not personal ones. Oh well, it is still an extension worth the try!
