CelebMasta! Here’s an interesting website for your research archives. CelebMasta is one of many fresh websites that aim to break through to the mainstream of the smut underground, if you can even consider that an avenue. You know what I mean, the dude behind this site is trying to make it big in porn marketing by bringing absolutely nothing new to the table, but he’s still doing a bang-up job. You could learn a lot from him. I say him, because from what I can tell it’s just the one guy, same as the way I run my site. The CelebMasta is presumably one dude who is a self-professed master of celebrity gossip, especially when that gossip is of the sexual variety. If a celebrity ever took their clothes off in front of a camera, this guy should be on top of the action.

He goes out of his way to find and catalogue celebrity nudes under the profiles of specific celebrities, so you don’t have to dig through different posts regarding the same girl. I say girl, but there’s also a gay switch neatly tucked away under the male celebs section of the site, so this guy’s clearly covering his spread. He knows that dudes get a lot of clicks. It doesn’t all have to be about the chicks.

Anyways, he’s pretty thorough, even if some of the posts on his home page feature babes that haven’t gone naked in almost a full decade. He seems to be curating the posts on his site by what the people consider to be popular, rather than what is actually fresh. I mean for fuck’s sakes, his fifth post on the home page right now features Jennifer Lawrence nudes that came out during the original Fappening. That’s not… good. That’s antiquated shit. But, I guess the internet will never have enough of Jennifer Lawrence, so this guy’s just spoon-feeding them the smut they want to see.

A Bit of Review

Either way, he appears to be doing a great job because his site is slowly growing in popularity. He’s got the place structured kind of like a blog. He’s obviously using some sort of blog script to simplify the overall layout of the site, though he knows the importance of thumbnails and gallery previews. All the posts are just that, they’re posts. You don’t get regular image galleries on this site. Instead, you get blog posts per celebrity, with a few comments here and there in-between the pictures.

CelebMasta makes sure to include a short bio regarding the celebrity you’re currently jacking off to. This section is usually featured at the very start of a post, so that you get some background information on the girl in question. After that, there’s not a lot of text, just images and videos featuring the babes. Yes, there are actual full-fledged videos on this site as well. They don’t load nearly as quickly as I’d like them to, but they work just fine so I can’t complain.

They just take a few seconds to buffer before they can get on their way. CelebMasta also tops off the posts with some exposition at the end that I’m assuming is there for SEO purposes. That must be the case, because the verbiage is so fucking weird and unnecessary that I kind of think it would be better for the site if the text wasn’t there at all. I am not too sure what this guy’s doing with the textual comments in between the pictures. They’re cringey at best.

Too Much Fake Content

But don’t you worry, because the cringe definitely doesn’t stop there. One thing I really hate about these kinds of celebrity themed websites is when they post content that is completely irrelevant, trying to pass it off as genuine. Ironically, I’m not talking about celebrity fakes. Those have been around in one form or another since the 90s and I’m perfectly fine with them. Hell, even CelebMasta marks them as “fake” so that you know that they are indeed photoshopped images and not actual nudes. They’re mixed in with the real nudes for no reason other than to give you some extra fapping content. Yeah, those are fine. I have a problem with the misattributed images and videos.

For every celebrity on this site there’s at least one, but usually many more than one images or videos that feature… someone else. Take Maisie Williams’ post for example. It’s riddled with images of a random camgirl who just… happens to look like Maisie Williams. But, the captions all straight up state that it is her in those photos. It fucking isn’t. It’s some random camwhore. If you just look closely enough you can see that it’s not the same girl. This shit is done to pretty much every celebrity on the site, but it’s especially prevalent with celebrities that don’t have any decent nudes out yet. This guy’s out here getting people hot and bothered over their favorite celebrities, only to pull a bait and switch and show you something you don’t give a fuck about.

There’s Some Actual Smut Here

For all the fake content on CelebMasta there’s also a lot of real content, where it’s actually available and poignant. Take for example the nudes featuring Cardi B. She’s the kind of crazy bitch who takes her top off whenever she gets a chance to. She also loves twerking in public, while completely naked, for some fucking reason. Look, the woman is clearly unwell. But, if you’re looking to fap to her clearly fake breasts, then you can do so until you’re blue in the face on this website. There’s a huge smattering of content featuring nothing but real Cardi B images and clips that she’s been kind enough to share with the internet. I think she straight up gets off on knowing that people are fapping to her cringe-ass tits. Whatever floats her boat, and yours for that matter.

CelebMasta is a perfect example of a modern website that’s doing a great job at raking in the clicks, while also doing seemingly everything wrong. The videos load really slowly and they’re generally very janky. They’re tiny and they’re in a low resolution. You also have to watch a 10 second ad for a random cam site before you can watch any video. So, if you’re checking out 10 videos under one celebrity bitch, that’s 10 ads, 10 seconds each that you have to watch in order to see the smut. Sometimes, the videos don’t even load, but you still get to watch the ad, because fuck you that’s why. This is not good business practice.

Design and Layout Needs a Ton of Work

I don’t like how there’s no rhyme or reason to the way that the home page is curated. Some of the nudes on here are extremely fresh, others are ancient as fuck. There’s no way of sorting them by date, though, as some of the latest posts feature some of the oldest images and videos. It’s all just thrown in at random with no real concern about how the end-user is going to experience this shit. There are a few sections that help you navigate the site better, but they’re just not enough. For example, you can check out celebrity videos exclusively or look at influencers, instead of general celebrities. That’s not too bad, I mean, it’s a start. But, give me the option of sorting by amount of nudity or at the very least tag your posts with the year of release of the actual nudes, rather than just having them listed at random. I want to see new nudes, not the same recycled garbage I’ve seen a thousand times over on other websites.

In terms of design, I don’t have much to criticize, as most of the image space is used for the actual nudes. On top of that there are very few ads on the site. There are no dynamic ads apart from those that load within the actual videos and that only happens if you try to watch a specific video. Otherwise, you’re left very much unbothered.

My personal advice is that you can learn a lot from CelebMasta and you can even consider contacting them for cooperation if they’d like to perhaps post some of your content on their site, if you have something that they haven’t gotten their hands on. I don’t dislike the website. Far from it. I think they’re doing the most with what they’ve got. That being said, I also think that they’re swinging and missing. They’re far from impressive. They could do so much more if they just invested the time to make their site stick out above the competition. As it currently stands, they’re a testament to webmaster mediocrity. If your website looks exactly like CelebMasta, then consider implementing some improvements, as soon as possible.
