I don't know if you have noticed, but there are approximately two or three metric shit tons of blogs out there, and I am only talking about the ones covering carnal content and providing sex-related education. I would say that the one which tends to focus on interviews with pornstars with yours truly and where to find fantastic porn, I would say the mine is the best. However, one thing I focus on less is more education and less erotic posts.
However, there are plenty of other ones out there that provide decent information on the erotic arts in a far less pornographic manner. Sure, that is going to sound boring to some of you but trust me, I do not do these reviews for no reason. In some ways, Love Honey sounds like it would be filled with sappy content, and to use a fifty-dollar word, it does come off as rather saccharine. At least to some people, that is.
If you give it a shot, you might find that this can be a pretty fun adult-themed blog to read.
Let Us Do A Quick Look At The Design
As I always enjoy seeing, this website presents a pleasant mix of tried and true design practices while also incorporating a unique bit of artistic flair. The standard white background common font scheme is used, but the layout of various links and windows is a little different. Instead of presenting links to articles in uniform columns, hyperlinked windows appear in a staggered pattern which is rather refreshing.
Believe me, after doing thousands of reviews, even small but noticeable novelties are nice to see.
For the most part, everything is presented in such a way that is intuitive and has the required (or at least what should be considered standard) additional navigation features like a section that promotes the most recently top-performing articles.
There Are Over A Dozen Types Of Pervy Posts
Okay, there are about a dozen major categories, many of which often overlap with others. Before I get into the quality of all of them collectively, I thought it would be more sensible to break down the more interesting types of posts.
Position of the Week – Well, this one is pretty self-explanatory, but again, what is important to keep in mind are the details. Rather than simply rehash an explanation of the sans trouser tango trio – in other words, missionary, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl – it would seem like the site authors mined the original and revised version of the Kama Sutra.
Moreover, each post is illustrated with helpful visuals which are informative but won't offend the more I'll say, conservative sensibilities of some readers. To explain it another way, the drawings are titillating and tasteful.
Adult toy advice – If you have not read my blog, then you know that I have dabbled a little bit into writing about sex toys quality, where to find them online, and even how to make your own. The posts found on this part of the site cover similar subjects, hard-to-find fuck instruments that you supposedly need to try, and specials that are running right now.
I'll also mention that the main site is focused on adult pleasure tools for men and women, for beginners and advanced users. They also have specials on the toys they sell all of the time, so if they are writing about an item, now would be the time to consider buying it.
Sex tips – I have written about this a lot, but the writers at Love Honey have come up with a ridiculous amount of material on this topic, too. And they write about more than just how to be a better lover.
Other articles include advice on how to make it easier to cum, getting into taboo subjects like chastity play, "bucket list" items, and sex acts some still believe to be legendary but actually can be achieved like a prostate orgasm. Seriously fellas, look up their piece on the topic. It is a fascinating and rewarding read.
And if that last one is not worth looking into, consider checking out the post “Apparently There are 12 Female Orgasms – and This Is How To Have Them.” Trust me, your lady friend(s) will thank you for it.
Lingerie blogs – Listcles these days are damn common online, and when it comes to reading them and writing them, they are certainly something that I have an interest in. But while the standard list-style blog is fine by me, one that is all about lingerie is even better. To make things even more trouser arousing, these posts are made all of the time.
LGBTQ+ content – For the sake of diversity and also because I know a good chunk of my readers fit into this category, I know that I have to mention the trans and queer content. There is quite a lot of it, and it contains information that even the "straights" would find interesting. I can say that I certainly did, and I've been around the block a few times, at least.
Podcasts are posted – Lastly, this blog occasionally posts about the four different topics covered: Love Honey “Top sex tips...,” “Little know sex facts,” “Answers to real consumer questions,” and an ongoing series covering expert, advanced advice. By looking up the podcasts by using any search engine, you'll be linked to dozens of these podcasts that you can access for free via SoundCloud.
As Far As The Quality Of Information Goes, I Say...
…to put it into three words – it's fucking amazing!
As someone who has an interest in the erotic arts in all of their facets, I know how to do enough reading to whip up a blog or two. That is not to say that doing so is easy, let alone stay creative, but anyone with enough passion can make a decent regular blog.
But it takes real genius to cultivate and maintain a bang-up blog like this one. While not as witty as some of my posts, the writing is always clever, highly engaging, and promptly posted on a regular schedule. Naturally, everything is well-researched, and the authors seem to be competent.
They Even Have A Form Of Condensed Super Article
Okay, that header is a little misleading, or at least confusing. To clarify, there is a short but informative forty-two pages covering topics mentioned in some blogs and also completely new ones. It is free to download and contains...
“...answers to real-life student sex dilemmas, information on how to improve foreplay and boost your bedroom confidence, and tips on everything from great first-time anal to which sex toy you should try next."
Sounds neat, huh? Now, I am not entirely sure if they are going to release even more updates when it comes to another eBook coming out. However, in case they do, and because you will find out about other sweet sex toys and reviews about them (not to mention the other blogs), I would get a free newsletter.
Also, at this point, I should mention the other bonus content!
Accessible through the Sex & Sex Toy Advice link located at the bottom of the page. You will see several portals, including those to their YouTube channel, the forum, a quiz, and their A to Z lists. The quiz itself is about determining your sex style, which is a great warm-up for the official guide to erogenous zones. When it comes to the A to Z posts, you'll find a beginner's guide to kink and another one for sex positions, complete with illustrations. I perused the latter and found it to be most informative, or rather would be for someone who is looking to have as much body-bending sex as me.
If anything, the only thing that I am not a fan of is the fact that some of these links are only accessible, at least easily, unless one uses the mentioned link.
Truly, There Is Not Anything To Complain About
Other than what I just said, there is not too much else to throw a fit about. I suppose I could say that I was a little annoyed by the constantly flashing bar at the top of the page, which kept advertising that the reader should sign up for email updates and the fact that Love Honey provides free shipping. But that would be rather petty. There are no adverts or anything, not even those trying to sell onsite merchandise, which is a major plus for me.
Here Is The Last Few Things That I Have To Say
To be completely straightforward, I took my time looking through this website in an attempt to challenge myself. The challenge was rather simple, try to find something objectionable. Usually, that is not too hard, considering the huge number of somewhat shoddy tubes I have gone through. However, I cannot think of anything worth complaining about.
Sure, the content here might not appeal to everyone, but I don't think that's enough to hold against the web admins when making an objective assessment. The categories are cool, the spam factor is non-existent, and this site looks lovely no matter what device or browser you prefer. Clearly, this website gets all five points from me.
