The Encyclopedia Dramatica is the essence of everything wrong with the internet boiled down into a single website, and they are proud of it. It just so happens that myself and my fanbase are the essences of everything wrong with humanity in general, so they make for a great combo. This place isn’t for the faint of heart or those passionate about human rights. It’s for trolls and perverts such as ourselves.

If you are one of the many men out there in denial about the true nature of their existence, avoid this place like the plague. It will offend the eyes and burn the ears. If, however, you have come to terms with your inner piece of shit, you will call this place church. Most importantly, though, as a webmaster, you will call the Encyclopedia Dramatica your meal ticket.

The Encyclopedia Dramatica is an online community and archive that takes its design cues from Wikipedia. It started as a .com in 2004 but has since gone through several domains as goody-two-shoes attempt to chase it from the digital landscape.

The site covers many topics but always from the perspective of a troll. The site's goal is to offend and piss off as many people as possible. As a result, they often take extreme stances on current events in culture and politics. While doing so, they also act as an archive keeping track of internet happenings so that future generations never forget we pulled our penises out for Harambe.

They also serve as a nexus for discussion and information about Anonymous. I know many of my readers live under a rock and skip watching the news in exchange for hardcore midget porn, so you have probably never heard of the hacker group Anonymous. They have pulled off several successful heists of personal info from individuals, companies, and governments.

Encyclopedia Dramatica has an extremely active community. There are even organized events called raids in which hundreds of Encyclopedia Dramatica users will bear down on a target. This can lead to spamming, hacking, and who knows what they fuck else.

Their favorite targets for these raids are online communities they feel self-censored in an attempt to garner sympathy from the general populous. That can also spill over to major media outlets and the like.

In an effort to piss those communities off, Encyclopedia Dramatica hosts a shit ton of extremely racist, misogynistic, and homophobic content ranging from memes to Youtube videos.

Wikipedia’s Evil Twin

I think Australian news source Ninemsn describes them exceptionally well. “Wikipedia's evil twin. It's a site where almost every article is biased, offensive, unsourced, and without the faintest trace of political correctness. A search through its archives will reveal animated images of people committing suicide, articles glorifying extreme racism and sexism, and a seemingly endless supply of twisted, shocking views on just about every major human tragedy in history.”

Naturally, any community based around trolling will not be safe for work, and you know what that means. There's porn. Now your webmaster ears have perked up, haven't they? Porn and subversion have gone hand in hand since the first caveman drew a circle with a dot in the middle.

I don’t recommend just anyone put promo content on Encyclopedia Dramatica. It has to fit the soul of your website. Met-Art would be doing itself a disservice if they advertised here.

However, it would be a perfect fit if you have footage of a blind midget soaking a homeless guy's socks in mountain goat urine before wearing them like eye patches. I don’t think Met-Art fucks with that sort of thing.

The website will be familiar to anyone that has ever visited Wikipedia. However, my readers might be one of the few groups of people that have never found themselves on Wiki. That's because learning is for pussies, not for getting pussy.

There are a few different menus to help you get around the place. The main menu is up top and has the options Main page, Discussion, View source, and History. To the right of that are links to all of their social media. These guys have a massive fucking reach. They host their own forums plus are on Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Steam group, Deviantart, and Reddit.

Finally, down the left side is a navigational menu with the options Main page, The TJC, Needed/Proposed, Donate, Your sandbox, Recent changes, New pages, Random page, ED policy, Help, and Wiki stats.

ED policy includes shit like hail satan every day and sock puppets, so don’t worry about breaking any rules that will get you kicked off. I can’t imagine you can do anything that would get you kicked off.

The front page has a featured article and featured pictures. The featured article, on the other hand, is an example of why not everyone should advertise on Encyclopedia Dramatica. If your website is called Lovingmissionarysex, it might not pair well with a racist article about Afrocentrism.

The forum is the best place to post your promo content. No one even has to know that it’s the webmaster posting the videos. For all they know, you are just another random porn fan passing through.

There are a couple of different places you can post your porn. “Locker room talk” is a good place to start. This is the home of sex, sports, and awkward personal issues such as that cock rash you're rocking right now. You should get that looked at.

Depending on the theme of your site, “Furries and ponies” is a great option. You might think the fact they are making fun of furries means this would be the worst place to post your furry porn promos, but you would be wrong. Much like how all passionate homophobes want to get fucked in the ass by a giant bear cock, people who spend time making fun of furries wish to get gangbanged by the Paw Patrol. The difference between the average Porndude reader and the average Encyclopedia Dramatica reader is as follows. The Porndude reader is fully aware of the sad sack of shit that he is. He embraces it and uses his self-awareness to his advantage when he can. The average Encyclopedia Dramatica actually thinks he is the shit. He has totally deluded himself into thinking he is an intelligent, attractive "alpha male."

I don't have much as far as changes I would make to Encyclopedia Dramatica. The design is ripped from Wiki, so it's alright. The content is what people want it to be. The forums are active and functional. I do wish they had an official porn section, though. It would make your and my job easier.
