It is also important to know that you can do a quick backup and quickly retrieve any data in less than a week with a direct shipment of an actual physical storage unit. This physical storage won’t require any kind of bandwidth usage of the internet.

You can also perform both sector-level and file-level backups to secure your personal computer device. After that, you can then restore it all, so it’s the same how it was in its initial state if any kind of fucked up situation occurs. And I know many people think that in their porn business, things will never get out of whack, but in my personal experience, I know that for most porn sites, shit always hits the fan at some point. That’s why backing everything up and having that peace of mind is critical to ensuring that you can always provide your service to your paying customers. It’s not ideal to have to think that shit will break down at some point, but you need to reassure yourself.

I’d choose Personal over Business

My only gripe with it is that the business plans are a lot more expensive if you want any kind of meaningful storage capacity. Not a lot, but for a free plan, that’s as much as you’ll get. Trust me; it’s a great deal since you don’t even need a credit card for it at all either.

Then you have the Personal plan, and this is where things jump a lot higher. You can usually find this on discount, but it originally costs around 70 bucks per year for the first year. This will give you the ability to backup up to 5TB of data from one user, and an unlimited number of computers and other devices. This is fucking amazing if you ask me. It’s like 10 bucks per terabyte of backed up data when it’s on discount and I just love it. You can also bump that up to 10TB and the price goes up to $100 for the first year in that case. The Business plan will give you 250GB, 500GB, 1.25TB, 2.5TB, 5TB, or 12.5TB plans for $100, $200, $500, $800, $1500, and $3000 respectively. These are much higher prices if I do say so myself.

Cloud storage and backups for your videos

The thing I don’t like about business plans I that they force you to pay a lot more for far less storage space just because you have the option to add more users. You can add unlimited users and unlimited computers, but what good will that do you if your storage is so fucking limited? And besides, both plans (Personal and Business) provide you with nearly identical features, so it doesn’t make sense to get the Business one in my opinion, unless you really need the users and groups features as well as the server cloud backup and business compliance. Those are the only real differences between the plans here.

iDrive doesn’t really make a compelling case for getting the business plan where you get far less storage for more money and so in the end, I can’t really recommend that one. Sure, it’s good for some established brands that really need some of this stuff, but for porn sites that just need to ensure that their data is backed up, I’m going to have to go with the Personal plan that gives you a lot more storage to work with. This is so important for video-based streaming platforms like porn sites and I think that most porn webmasters will go for that option in the end. Online file syncing and shit like that is also great and I believe that many people will use the cloud storage feature when using iDrive.com as well.

Many other great features to explore with iDrive

All the other features are also included. The platform is secure, and it ensures your privacy with the files that you back up being stored with 256-bit AES encryption and you can use a key that you define that is not stored anywhere on the server to ensure maximum security. Just don’t store it on a piece of paper in your wallet, will you? You also get continuous data protection with iDrive since it automatically recognizes the modified parts of any file and then backs it all up. You can also have some additional features like data retrieval from trash within 30 days if you deleted something by complete accident.

Don’t worry, it’s easily scriptable and it allows for customizable online backups and recovery. This is really good if you have some person who knows how to do this.
