Ah yes, Motherless. The Hail Mary to end all Hail Marys. I still remember the day that this site first came out. I was blown away. I didn’t think that smut this hot was even possible. I mean, yeah, I’m the PornDude and all, and I’ve seen the hottest smut. I stay on top of things, but Motherless was different. There was a distinct lack of corporate touch. It truly felt like an amateur porn site made by the people for the people. I mean, everyone’s free to post on PornHub and other similar sites, but the front page of such a mainstream site is just littered with mainstream lowest common denominator bullshit. Motherless was the site to prove once and for all that that’s not what OG fappers want.

Another thing that Motherless got right was the fact that they decided there was nothing wrong with their site, so they’ve pretty much endeavored not to change anything. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and all that. Motherless is equally as awesome today as it was the day it launched. I’m checking the front page right now, and all I can see is proper amateur content that you straight up can’t get anywhere else. But that is until it gets reposted.

Still, the point of Motherless isn’t for it to be some sort of unique collection of videos. The point is that all of the videos here are posted by fappers who are passionate about the content they share. You straight-up won’t see mainstream shit because it’s not necessary. Fappers can get that content elsewhere. And that’s what makes Motherless a sort of secret gold mine that also happens to reach millions of fappers daily. It’s fucking fantastic.

Why This Matters

So how does any of this factor into your marketing efforts? Well, first of all, you’ll be welcome by default since this site runs on community contributions. As long as the videos you’re uploading weren’t quite literally uploaded a day ago by someone else, you’re welcome to post whatever on the site. Their database can expand as much as needed, and everyone’s welcome to upload as much as they want. The more unique the content, the better, and the views just keep coming. There’s no end in sight. If you’ve got a bunch of similar videos, you’re more than encouraged to group them into a playlist so that the fappers on the site can find all of them much easier.

Therefore, you can upload your entire fucking catalog on Motherless and put it in a playlist, encouraging folks to check them all out if they want to. Naturally, you’re going to watermark the shit out of them and maybe even downscale their resolution so that they’re worse on Motherless than they would be on your site. Hell, you can even write this out in tiny print on the bottom of the video. You can tell people that they could go to your site to see the same videos but in proper full HD.

Keep in mind that Motherless doesn’t give a flying fuck about you using their site to cross-promote. Most videos on the website these days have a watermark, and no one seems to mind. Of course, there are a few that are posted directly to the site by people who want to share their private parts with the world, but overall, this site seems like a great place for webmasters to dump their content and share it with the world.

You might think that posting to a site that’s saturated with watermarked videos might make you less relevant since your videos can get lost in a sea of similar content, but trust me when I say that the alternative is much worse. If you post your watermarked teaser videos on PornHub, for example, the chances of them floating to the top of any page is very fucking low. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the home page or the most viewed page or even a genre page like amateur; it’s not going to fucking happen. So, on one hand, you have PornHub that doesn’t want your content to be pushed to the top.

Motherless, on the other hand, doesn’t give a shit what gets pushed to the top. It’s all up to the viewers. So, if you post the kind of shit that people enjoy, you’ll be popular on Motherless. But there is a huge chance that you’ll fall off after a while, so you’ll have to post regularly, but that’s actually a pretty damn good system. It rewards consistency, hard work, and dedication. So, if you want to bank on views coming in from Motherless, all you have to do is upload regularly. As long as you’re matching that demand with supply on your main site, you’ll always have something new to post.

Now, the fundamental questions: What do you post, and how do you post it? Naturally, the content you share on Motherless has to match the content you’ve got on your main site. People will only follow you back there if they can see more of what they’ve already had a peek at. So, you’ll want it all to be consistent. I’m guessing you already have some sort of supply chain figured out since you’ve made it to this section of my reviews. Most of the people that read my reviews on this site get their content from external sources. I don’t ask, I don’t tell, but my point is, I’m assuming that most of you aren’t producing your own porn. That’s not so much a webmaster gig as it is a studio gig. If you’re running a studio, you don’t need Motherless. You need a lawyer and a marketing team.

As for webmasters, well, I’m guessing you guys have the sense only to acquire a single type of specific porn for one domain. Don’t mix and match all over the place; it won’t get you anywhere. Only sites like Motherless can get away with having every genre under the sun, and that’s a good thing. You have the incentive to get a bunch of different websites under your umbrella and market all of them on Motherless without people realizing that you own all of these seemingly unrelated sites.

There’s just not a lot of thinking that goes into using Motherless as a marketing platform, and that’s precisely what I love about it. When you put smut on this site, people are just grateful. The site owners themselves couldn’t give a shit what you do, as long as it’s legal. So, the doors are open; your hands are untied, the world is your oyster, and so on. You can upload as many files as you want and watermark them all.

One thing you should consider, though, is making short trailer-type videos for your content that you can share on Motherless in case you don’t want to have your entire library out there for free. Yes, the watermarks technically provide an incentive for people to come back to your site and view those videos in their proper format, but that’s not too much incentive. Fappers are pretty narrow-minded. They’ll likely jerk off to those videos on Motherless and just move on, forgetting about you and your content.

Unfortunately, I can’t give you an accurate answer on what the proper method is here. You have to test out different combinations and see what works best. Track every single video individually for a while until you get used to using Motherless and have useful performance metrics. In the beginning, you’ll have no idea what your actual click-through rate is going to be, so you have to test it meticulously. Once you know what to expect, you can start analyzing in broader strokes.

It’s also worth noting that while Motherless might accept every genre of content, you should be careful about how you group your content and rate it in terms of performance metrics. That’s why you need multiple videos of every type. In addition, you need to know whether a video’s performance can be accredited to the video itself or the category it is in. Hell, you should also upload them to other sites, so you have some sort of control group to run comparisons on.

This kind of cross-posting marketing can be a nightmare at first, but it gets exponentially easier the longer you do it. Your performance metrics are incredibly valuable data. Once you have enough knowledge of the efficiency of one particular site, you’ll be golden. You’ll know exactly how worthwhile it is to use. I’m sure that Motherless will be high on your list, certainly higher than sites like PornHub. Or maybe I’m entirely wrong about this. Like I said. Trust the data, not my personal opinion and not yours. Run experiments, analyze, rinse, and repeat.
