TopPornSites! There are loads of porn sites out there, which is great and all, but it can be hard to track them all down. Another issue is finding them without hunting around the net and saving them to your favorites. Even if you do, there are many tubes and aggregates that are just rebranded existing domains. Then there are all of the shady sites packed with copypasta, which you can find in better quality elsewhere.

But over the years, an increasing number of them have compiled some of the better porn platforms and written a lot – or very little – about them. One such example is Top Porn Sites, which certainly has some things going for it, which may appeal to you. But as always, I've got other things to say about it.

The Premise Of This Porn Platform Is Basic As Fuck

A trend that seems to have popped up after the start of the 2010s was one wherein indie e-commerce entrepreneurs reviewed their favorite smut sites. This expanded into various forms of business networking and even more write-ups on an ever-wider number of porn sites.

While the domain goes back to Y2K, Top Porn Sites seems to be one of those which got its start in early 2014. Most of the bones seem to have been there since the beginning though there has been some addition since then.

There Is a Little Bit To Like About TPS

Looking like a minimalist website (or maybe an early side project), this one has a fair number of direct adult links with a few other goodies as well.

The Page Design Is Rather Clean – To start, this website looks super clean with a starry background, and light grey colored overlays aren't exactly award-winning but look good enough.

Most of the text is white on a pure black background, though there are some nice multicolored vector-based text images, too. Besides the porn site links themselves and the landing page, there's nothing too busy going on here.

There Are No Onsite Adverts – Speaking of not being too busy, this site will not bombard you with adverts. In fact, there aren't any commercial banners to be seen of any sort. I also checked around quite a bit, and there aren't any redirects when clicking on a link. Further, from what I've seen, all of the links are fully functional.

Get Bite-sized Breakdowns – While not exhaustive, you can see a brief description of each website when you hover your cursor over them. Some are a sentence long; others are an easy to read paragraph. So, if you're in a big hurry to see what a new tube or similar site is about, you can get the gist in a matter of seconds and start watching immediately.

But There Is Sooo Much To Improve

As neat as this site looks, if you are perusing around for porn, there is a helluva lot I would change, expand, and edit.

Increase The Number Of Categories – As of now, there are thirty categories of porn hosting several or dozens of links. While that may sound impressive, I can tell you from years of experience documenting hundreds of erotic websites.

Therefore, I'd aggressively expand the number of categories, including the top adult comics, ebony, and porn for women websites. I'd even go so far as to add some more taboo types of porn, including watersports, scat, and other forms of bizarre porn.

We Need More Websites – For a site that claims to list the top websites, I noticed there are several they missed. The Top Tube Site portion has a cool 65 links to be fair, but more sites could be added. And some sections have a few or only one link where there could be several.

For instance, there are only three fetish sites listed when I can think of at least a dozen more. Then there's the MILF section. Right now, there are two links when I think we all know that there are plenty of more sites featuring mature ladies. One thing I cannot look past are the number of anal sites described – there is only one!

Add More Detailed Descriptions – As I said, it is neat that each breakdown is easy to read, but I would love to see more detail, and I'm sure you would as well. I mean, to really get a good idea of what a decent – and especially a quality platform (!) – is going to require at least 300 if not 1,500+ words.

Even if some readers simply scan through, formatting the site with bite-sized paragraphs and abbreviated bullet points at the end of each article (like this one) is an excellent strategy to appeal to all readers.

Improve The Text Display – Each website description is tucked away as a pop-up on the upper righthand corner of the landing page. If you're using a laptop or home computer, you'll be able to read things legibly. However, this feature is impossible to use on a mobile device.

Not only would I have descriptions open up in a sub-window to make them easier to read, and I'd also optimize the whole platform for mobile devices. Even more so, I'd add a link at the bottom of every description rather than place it on the website's name.

I Would Include Some Promo Pics – Text can be quite descriptive, but as they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." I would add that a particularly erotic one can inspire people to take action or bust a nut. When it comes to the promo pics used by porn sites, you can get people to do both. So, I'd say that this site could use some sexy screenshots in addition to more text.

Appeal To Gay, Bi, And Trans Lovers – There are a couple of dozen links to gay porn, but let's be real, there are afar more out there than that. And since the majority fuckers who are going to be using this site are of the heterosexual persuasion, maybe there should simply be a link to a sister gay site under the same brand.

Another thing I find strange is the lack of shemale and lesbian links. Like gay sites, there are easily enough of those with enough specialty categories to do a trans and lesbian spinoff of TPS. But since both of those genres have enough appeal across orientations, you could host them on Top Porn Sites. Whatever the case, this platform needs more links of that kind.

They Should Come Up With A Gimmick – Other than being able to rate a category as your favorite – which doesn’t mean or do much – there isn’t any interactivity or unique aspect to this website at all. They don’t even maintain a blog or newsletter. Something like that would add the needed spice to make this site shine.

It’s Not The Worst Site, But…

Top Porn Sites is certainly wanting for far more features, especially if since there are so many fine competitors like ThePornDude and its many sister sites.

Still, if you are looking for uber quick descriptions of some of the best smut sites with links to them, this site is decent. Sure, that’s a weak endorsement, but it’s not much of a condemnation.

This is more of a three hands site for me, but looking at it as a starter website or side project, it looks crisp. Besides, for most horny fuckers' purposes, this platform will work just fine.
