Porn Dig! Whenever I review a new porn site, there are a few things I look at every time. Let’s say I have a particular system I use to judge the worthiness of a platform. Some are things every website should have, and others are fun bonuses if they can be included. I’ve been doing this a long time, and I can recognize a worthy porn site from three miles out. So as webmasters, you motherfuckers better take notes.
Without a doubt, the most important thing is content. It doesn’t matter how pretty your background is or how well developed your menus are if all the content on your site is straight trash. Still, when reviewing content, you have to bear in mind that different people like different things. For example, I might not want to watch a ninety-five-year-old man with a diaper empty said diapers contents into the mouth of an Australian man resting comfortably in a kangaroo pouch, but someone out there does. So it’s not what the videos are about. Rather, it’s about how well it shot and pixel density.
Selection does play a part, though. Unless you are a dedicated fetish site, you should have a range of categories. And regardless of if you specialize or not, you should have as much content as you can get. People are watching porn because they want variety. If my wife were a shapeshifter, I wouldn’t need porn.
Before I watch anything, I analyze the general aesthetic of the place. This is less about judging its overall beauty as it is about making sure it’s not a sketchy shit hole. No matter how great the porn is, it’s not worth frying my motherboard to get it. Fortunately, such offenders are usually obvious. You don’t expect scam artists to spend three months developing the perfect website, do you? No, scam artists are all about quantity, not quality. Quantity has a quality all on its own, though.
Menu Magic from Massage to Milkshakes
Menu design gives you an insight into the minds of the developers. The better the menu, the more time they spent on it, the more they give a shit about their craft. You could spend five minutes tossing together the bare minimum requirements needed to navigate the place, or you could take the time required to develop a fun and intuitive design. There are a hundred and one ways to go about it, and it’s always apparent when a web designer gives a shit.
Any site that goes out of its way to make its menu unique gets bonus points. I’ve seen some designs on sites that made me wonder why every porn site isn’t organized like that. With a bit of research, a webmaster doesn’t have to start from scratch. See what the competition is up to. You can blend your favorite parts of different sites menus into your own creation.
I always check to see if a website has log-in capabilities. If they don’t, I assume they are not planning on having many repeat customers. That increases the chance that the site has nefarious intentions. Repeat customers are how money is made. I’ve explained the 80/20 principle in the past, and it is a real thing. You can expect eighty percent of your business to come from twenty percent of your customers. You want those twenty percent to have an account so that they feel more connected to your product.
At the minimum, your account function should have a history and favorites. That alone will inspire people to return to your site over and over. How many times have you tried to remember porn you watched a couple of weeks ago but failed to find it anywhere? You search every tag and term you can think of, but nothing comes up. “Big titty, blow job, feet” meets the description of a hundred thousand other porns besides the one you’re hunting for. A history folder makes finding it as easy as a short stroll around the block.
If you go above and beyond that, you will engender yourself to those frequently visiting your site. Give them the chance to add a little personality, and the twenty percent will be putty in your hands.
Class is over, for now, gentleman. I say all this because Porndig is a fine example of a website doing all of those things well. It’s clear to me, even at first glance, that the webmasters behind Porndig care about their creation. They have spent that extra time and effort to ensure they piece together an excellent porn site. A little bit of ‘give a shit’ can go a long way.
Anally Installed Blenders are Good for Business
Let’s go in the order I used to explain what makes a good porn site. First up is content. They have a great blend of the usual fair mixed with some more niche shit. Porndig seems to have a thing for innocuous activities, and that’s some of my favorite content here. “Melissa Tries to Excite You With Her Strawberry Milkshake” is a fun example. You might think strawberry milkshake is another term for pussy, but nope, she is actually making a milkshake in the nude. I won’t give away the surprise plot twist at the end. Actually, yes, I will. She pisses in her milkshake and drinks it. Surprise, bitches.
Milkshakes are kind of a thing on Porndig. Anytime more than one milkshake video makes it to the main page, I consider it a running theme. “Kelly Wells is Filling her Ass with Milkshakes” picks up where Melissa leaves off and takes it to a whole new level.
Plenty of pixels are packed into each video, for better or worse. I wouldn’t have minded if things got grainy during the milkshake piss. One of my favorite things about our modern age is the improvement in and distribution of cameras. Now even the most amateur footage is shot in HD—what a beautiful time to be alive.
I love the aesthetic of Porndig, and it’s different than the approach of most porn sites. See, Porndig doesn’t really have a look. Not because they are lazy and stuck with a plain white background, but because there is no room for a look. The whole website is packed to the brim with content and menus. So why bother being a looker when you can fill that extra space with more porn. After all, I’m not here to train as an interior designer. I’m here to bust fat nuts across my computer desk.
I love the menus on Porndig. The ingenuity is impressive. Where the main menu is usually placed, there is a small menu with the options Videos, Webcams, Meet and fuck, Pornstars, and Studios. The actual main menu runs down the left side and contains tons of detail.
Running from the top down, we have the complete category list as a drop-down, so it doesn’t take up all the room. Next are two switches that select your sexual preference and whether you would like to filter for the pro or amateur content. The rest of the menu is various lists: the most popular categories, Categories from A to Z, Online models (they have their own live streaming service), and top studios.
Signing up for Porndig is as simple as making up a username and having an email. But once you’re in, you will see the profiles are quite extensive. You can be as detailed or generic as you want to be. The profile keeps track of all types of fun shit: your favorites, history, general activity, and preferences. You might just learn something about yourself by using Porndig. Perhaps some shit you didn’t want to know.
When people see your content on a reputable site such as Porndig, they will transfer that faith from them over to you. Their hard work can be your hard work just by uploading a few videos. You can sleep comfortably knowing your content is on this type of site. Be sure to tag and advertise yourself properly. The menu is so detailed you want to make sure your shit is easily locatable. Don’t be afraid to post some weird shit. It will be in good company. And if you happen to have anything milkshake-related, there is no better place for it.
Porndig has packed a lot into a small space, so, of course, not everything will be perfect. First off, “Glauren Star Prepares a Pizza Smoothie in her Ass” is porn that shouldn’t exist. How much did they pay that poor bitch? Not enough. Second, there is space saved under each video for a short description, but none are filled out. This only bothers me because they pay so much attention to the little details everywhere else on the site.
Posting promo content to Porndig will not only increase traffic to your site, but that traffic will be high quality. These will be guys that will cum over and over again. Make sure you have room for them to sign up and become dedicated customers.
